Cinnamon Coffee Cake Muffins (gluten free): I've never really understood the Trader Joe's "hype", but these were brought into the office by a co-worker and I love free snacks. Trader Joe's muffin has a fair amount of cinnamon sugar both on top and inside their muffin. The sugar granules add a welcomingly light crunch to the muffin as well as additional sweetness. When it comes to cinnamon I'm not a fan of "burning" in your face cinnamon. Thankfully this was a very mild and sweet cinnamon flavor. The texture was pleasantly chewy and moist, just about perfect for a muffin. Some might be drawn to this muffin for the gluten free aspect, but I could care less. Most importantly, it tasted like a normal/non gluten free bakery item. If you have to eat GF then this is a must try. For everyone else, this is comparable to a typical bakery coffee cake muffin. I added some cinnamon frosting and a cinnamon dessert spread to mine to take it up a notch and it went from being good to phenomenal. Super reasonably priced and a great selection of interesting things to try! I went a little overboard with buying a large selection of snacks and foods, but so far everything has been a hit. I really appreciate the large variety of gluten-free options.
