Took my kids here for lunch. Th3re is a bar side and a dining room side and it is clean bright and welcoming in the dining side. My son has celiac and on the plus side they took cross contamination very seriously and had gf items clearly labeled. On the down side, a rather limited gf selection. The fried green tomatoes were delightful as was the fried okara. The pimento cheese dip was just ok, and the chips were stale. My gf kid loved his omelet, but did not like the grits at all. I though the grits were solid but not amazing though. I mentioned the stale chip issue in passing, not even as a complaint and the server kindly took that off the tab. The server was also super helpful in terms of navigating their eclectic DRAFT beer menu. Overall, this was a solid place to go and the service and environment were on point.

This is a great place to get a taste of Asheville and enjoy good southern cooking with a creative twist! I got the pork and WOW! I love honey and hot sauce, so this was absolutely perfect for me. With my gluten, dairy and sugar issues, there weren't a LOT of options, most things are fried (which my friends loved). But the pork was safe, fries, collard greens and a few other things.. just not a ton of options for my allergies. Cub took care of us and he was really efficient, cool, and made sure our waters stayed full (which was perfect cause we were dehydrated). They have a good bit of outdoor seating (shaded) and tons of space inside- along with a nice bar. If you're looking for a lunch or decent meal downtown, this is worth a stop! Spent about 30$ for a nice meal with 2 sides.

Had the Harvest bowl with chicken and enjoyed it. It actually filled me up. One of my daughters had the honey Sriracha Burger thought it was a little spicy as a 13 year old I took a bite and I thought it was great. Wife had grilled chicken sandwich thought it was good. Another had the avocado sandwich but said it needed some protein in it. They did offer gluten-free bread for sandwiches!
