Tupelo Honey Southern Kitchen & Bar

Excellent! This was my first visit to Tupelo Honey, but so many people have told me how delicious their food is - and boy were they right! They have a great selection of menu items with plenty of choices for people who are gluten free. They also have delicious mocktails and a substantial bar menu. We went for brunch on New Year's Day, so it was probably more busy than it would typically be - but we only had to wait a short time before getting a table and enjoying our brunch.

100/10!! Started out Brunch with the Southern Hospitality Mimosa (peach nectar and pineapple juice), excellent! For entrees we had the Asheville Hot Fried Chicken with Mac n Cheese Waffles (house-made garlic buttermilk ranch, pickles, chives). It's a mouthful to say and a mouthful of flavor! Our second entree was the Tupelo Shrimp & Grits (gluten free, sustainably wild-caught white gulf shrimp, chorizo pork sausage, peperonata, creole sauce, scallions, heirloom grits with goat cheese).
