Vegan Avenue On Main

This was my first time visiting the restaurant. I was in town for a wedding and googled. Having celiac and egg allergy it not always easy to find a good place with good options, but I was amazed by the food here. I went back a couple time's before leaving. This is going to be my to go spot always when in SA. Staff were great, atmosphere is very cute and friendly and did I mention the food ....it was AMAZING, so delicious, great variety , it made me like a normal person enjoying food actual regular food and not having to worry about getting sick!!! A definite win!!!

Me and my family were visiting from Colorado but we are from Texas and wanted my daughter to see San Antonio and the Alamo and did some research for vegan and gluten free restaurants and found Vegan Avenue on Main and WOW we were so impressed not only in the owners story but the food was so good. I think my wife and daughter ordered like 6 meals on the menu and i had their burger and everything was so good and the owner actually served us and treated us SO NICE. We would recommend this place to anyone. The shakes and drinks were so good on a hot day and the food was so good it almost seemed we were eating "REAL" food, lol. The owner spent time talking to us about her passion in this restaurant and how she worked really hard at this restaurant and while we were there it showed cause she was running around like crazy making sure everyone was taking care of. This is my favorite vegan restaurant! Every meal was delicious! The staff is amazing, the food is incredible and the vibe is great! The food came out quickly and hot. They entire restaurant is gluten free. I will always eat here when visiting San Antonio!
