I have multiple food allergies and intolerances, including milk and gluten, and this place is a dream come true for me. I had one scoop vanilla and one scoop pistachio-almond in a bowl, with a gluten-free dark matter cone. My partner had the coquito flavored one, which tasted just like real coquito. The vanilla was everything a vanilla icecream should be and more. It was seriously the most perfectly balanced vanilla icecream. The pistachio-almond had a delightful sweet toasted almond flavor, with the pistachio being more subtle, that reminded me of pignoli cookies. There were a liberal amount of almonds in the icecream. The cone itself was fantastic. Nobody would know it was gluten-free without notification.
The 45-minute commute was well worth the effort, and we definitely plan to return.
