Viet Shack Restaurant

Had the shack rice which was delicious. The meat was so well seasoned, particularly the beef. The food arrived quickly. The service was fantastic. I am coeliac and they were very happy to cater for me. Although Vietnamese is naturally good for gluten free, they made sure I had the allergen matrix and let the kitchen know to prepare my food safely. I felt reassured that the staff knew what they were doing, but not over-explained or patronised about my own allergy, which is perfect. Overall great service for a large group of 7, nice vibe, good value for money, and delicious food. Can't ask for more than that.

My all time favourite place to eat in Manchester, great quality food, service and atmosphere. We order takeout from here every other week and it still tastes incredibly fresh! A strong verity of vegan, vegetarian and gluten free dishes 🤍 My go to is the Pho Chay and Avocado Summer Rolls and my partner’s is the Shack Fries and Hallomi Sticks 🍲

Viet shack changed management a while back, and since then they have sorted their allergens out. They have an allergy guide and the staff understands cross contamination risks and what coeliac disease is.
