Villa Barone Ristorante Pizzeria

A nice menu, very good gluten-free pizza.

Attention allergy sufferers! The restaurant does offer gluten-free pizza and pasta - which is generally great - but the staff (including the boss!) are not interested or attentive enough to ensure that the right person has the gluten-free dish on their plate! We ordered 1x normal pizza and 1x gluten-free pasta and received the two plates after a long wait (35 minutes!). In the meantime we were very hungry and found out that we were given 1x gluten-free pizza and 1x normal pasta. Very annoying, but luckily it wasn't dangerous for me as I only have an intolerance and not celiac disease...still hardly an excuse! And by the way, generally unfriendly and disinterested service...and some of the staff don't speak any German - a shame, because the food would generally be very tasty, but under these circumstances we no longer visit the restaurant and don't recommend it!
