Village of OM Plant Kitchen

Chef's kiss to this amazing restaurant! We found it on a google search (vegan food in Sacramento). I'm gluten free, my friend is vegan, and our other friend is game to try anything! It's always been a secret goal of mine to find a fabulous vegan place my vegan friend didn't already know about - and Village of Om Plant Kitchen fulfilled that goal! The atmosphere was amazing - we walked right in on a Saturday mid afternoon. The staff and service was attentive, delightful, and helpful when it came time to pick what to order. Everything was 10/10. The Ziggy roll was the absolute star of the show... the fried rice was delicious... curry was phenomenal... stir fry was hearty and packed with yummy veggies and the dessert was perfect. My only regret is not being able to try more rolls off the menu... but we were too full after sharing all those dishes family-style! I can not wait to go back to try more!

Excellent vegan and gluten free options (90% gluten free kitchen they said). We had a couple of dishes that blew our minds. Atmosphere was bomb. My 1 complaint is that they do not boil the okra down enough before using it to avoid the slime. In both dishes it was intolerable.

We had the szewchuan salt & pepper tofu, Saigon salad, Oshi salmon roll, and trumpet ceviche. Everything was excellent, thoughtful, and perfectly seasoned. We will start coming here for our sushi cravings from now on. Great place if you're gluten-free, too. About 90% of the menu is automatically gluten-free. There was so much more we wanted to try. We'll definitely be back soon!
