This place is an absolute gem! I went twice in less than a week and I don't even live in Sacramento. Here's my full breakdown. Highlights: Great food, ambiance and Service. Gluten Free friendly. Looking forward to: *Liquor License coming soon* Favorite item: The Up Beat Roll (I could eat that 7 days a week) Starters: - Village Spicy Fried Blue Oyster Mushroom - Perfection! crispy yummy - Szewchuan Salt & Pepper Tofu w/Onions - A little greasy but good flavor Rolls: - Zen Garden Roll - Strong Japanese flavors, very traditional not everyone's cup of tea - Up Beat Roll - Crowd favorite! Everyone loved this one! - The Village - Super fun smoked roll, presentation is super cool - Ziggy of Om - Delicious, second favorite to the Up Beat Roll Mains: - Yellow Curry Potatoes with Veggie - Good but could use a bit more salt. Nice mild flavor - Trumpet Shitake Bulgogi Iron Skillet - WOW, very yummy. Bold flavor on the salty side but we all loved this one.

We visited when they were still operating under a soft opening and need some polish which is expected. However the food is great innovative and healthy. We have a few friends that are vegan / vegetarian and or have celiac. Here's a place we can all go to that would, in my opinion satisfy everyone. Being a champion carnivore I didn't miss my carne at all. The portobello fries were perfect. We followed up with the Trumpet Shitake Bulgogi. As a Korean American I was impressed by the bulgogi and their kimchee, daikon side dishes. They do not have a liquor license yet but offer alcohol free options. As far as polish goes... two things stand out. 1. We asked for fizzy water, the only option offered by the waiter was to bring us one in a highball (small) glass and charge us for a Thai Ice Tea. 2. The Bulgogi was a family style platter and we were not offered rice to go with it. Small stuff and overall I'd give them 4.5 out of 5 but no option for 1/2 points. I am VERY sure they'll get the wrinkles out so they get a 5 rating.
