Vinland Reserve Winery

I ordered a smashburger with a gluten free bun. In a previous visit I was told the French fries were not gluten free so I ordered a side salad instead. Imagine my surprise when I was charged an additional $4 up charge according to the waiter for some lettuce and cashew nuts! Gluten free is not a choice as I have Celiac Disease. I won’t be going back. Not worth it! Other places have GF buns and I know I have to pay an extra $2 but this up charge is ridiculous!

I have been here twice now, but only was served once. Like many review stated it is a bit disorganized, but hopefully they will get their bearings soon. I will say we did not have reservations the first time we showed up, however the place was very empty and they told us we could wait until 8pm to see if anything opened up, since it was 5pm we left. Fast forward - I made a reservation for the next visit. We were seated right away at a nice table for 6. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. The house red was nice and dry, the food was pretty good. I can highly recommend the chicken and waffles - as three from our party got that. If looking for gluten free I highly recommend the Viking Grains - it was so big I was able to share with others. I will be back - with reservations. I recommend anyone to make a reservation if you want to eat here.
