Great Celiac Safe - Gluten Free option at Heathrow T3! After we were initially seated, I asked the hostess for gluten-free menus. When our waiter came over, he saw the gluten-free menus and immediately asked if we had a gluten allergy/celiac. He informed us that his manager would need to take our order. The manager quickly came over and answered all our questions about how the kitchen prepares it’s gluten free items and any cross contamination potential (very little for our breakfast). We both ordered a Tea Egg and Mackerel on gluten-free toast. We enjoyed our food and were thrilled with how knowledgeable and thoughtful the staff were.

The service is amazing and better than many fancy restaurants (and I travel to many Michelin restaurants). I was in a rush for my connecting flight and Nicky went above and beyond to get the order done in less than 5 minutes, including gluten free, talking with the chefs and having them fire it up despite a standard 15-20 minute wait time as it was busy. That’s the kind of service that is memorable and really made my day! Big thanks to Nicky and the whole team.

Food: I ordered the gluten free pad Thai and the peach iced tea Pad Thai- Definitely spicy and salty enough, just lacking the subtle sweetness and full-bodied flavor of a true pad Thai. also they gave me only 3 prawns and 2 pieces of chicken. No crushed peanuts to be found on my plate. The beansprouts were limp and thin, not fresh and crisp. I said it was spicy enough but there could have been even more of an edge to the dish. Missing the warmth of the chili. Peach iced tea- was delightful and flavorful, but not quite good enough to charge £4 for a “large” (was served in a small glass the same size as the free tap water glasses) My favorite part of my experience was how knowledgeable and attentive they were to food allergies. My least favorite part was the confusing method of paying with QR code. I am young (in my 20s), and this was still puzzling for me and all of my friends. We were trying to split the check, and website it took us to would not save our information and was trying to make us pay the full balance when we would click next taking us to the page to put in our card information. I think the website is glitchy and should be fixed. Overall, my experience here was subpar. I enjoyed spending time with my friends, but I paid close to £20 for a single meal. This seems a bit excessive for the low quality of the food and service.
