Where The Buffalo Roam Saloon

If you are celiac or travelling with someone who is, this restaurant is a perfect place for a cocktail and a bite to eat. It has been a staple Canmore restaurant over the last few years when we are passing through. Thank you to the restaurant staff for creating years of consistency.

Beautiful location. Amazing knowledgeable and friendly staff. Great menu with vegan and gluten free options. Loved the patio with view of the three sisters mountain. Delicious food and drinks.

We were looking for a late night dinner spot on our last night in Canmore and this place did not disappoint. Wonderfully crafted cocktails and simple but well executed food. I ordered the steak frites and my girlfriend got the gluten free fish and chips. My steak was cooked perfectly and her fish and chips were crispy and delicious. We both ordered the same cocktail, The East Tea, which was made with Japanese whisky and green tea. It was delicious, refreshing and heavy on the whisky, which we appreciated lol. The atmosphere was great, we sat outside and enjoyed the music selection as well. All in all it was a great experience and a place we will definitely come back too when in the area.
