Where The Buffalo Roam Saloon

We were looking for a late night dinner spot on our last night in Canmore and this place did not disappoint. Wonderfully crafted cocktails and simple but well executed food. I ordered the steak frites and my girlfriend got the gluten free fish and chips. My steak was cooked perfectly and her fish and chips were crispy and delicious. We both ordered the same cocktail, The East Tea, which was made with Japanese whisky and green tea. It was delicious, refreshing and heavy on the whisky, which we appreciated lol. The atmosphere was great, we sat outside and enjoyed the music selection as well. All in all it was a great experience and a place we will definitely come back too when in the area.

Please get with the times and offer a gluten free bun for your amazing wagyu burger! Wimpy lettuce wrap is a disgrace to the customer and the burger.

SO GOOD! I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant. The service and food and drinks were phenomenal - shout out to Laurie who was the absolute best! I’m celiac and there were so many options for me. Atmosphere was awesome too, such a vibe and a really comfortable, cozy spot. Can’t wait to go back.
