This was our first time coming here. My cousin and I are from out of town. She is Gluten free so I asked her to pick somewhere to accommodate her. She picked Oeb Breakfast, after reading the great reviews. We both ordered the threesome. We had well done scrambled eggs, maple smoked bacon. I had the pancakes, she had GF waffles. The taste of the food was excellent. The eggs came out perfect and you could taste the quality of the food. It's pretty loud in the restaurant as it's an open space, but I'm happy we discovered this gem !

Always love visiting this location while in the airport. The atmosphere is casual and relaxing. The servers do a great job of welcoming you and providing great suggestions. Our server, Kiandra, made us feel like she had lots of time for us even though it was busy. She did a great job of ensuring my meal was safe with my gluten allergy, too. Much appreciated, will be back again!

This was honestly the best restaurant experience I have had. Being gluten free has been a significant challenge feeling safe to eat out, but the staff here was absolutely fantastic with accommodating with gluten free options. Our server Nick was super helpful navigating the menu and making changes so any items that could be made gluten free were gluten free. Overall great food and fantastic service. Would definitely recommend and go again.

Was a buzzing place. Not that much seating so there is a wait. Food was tasty. A little on the spicy side. Gluten free options available. Tacos are mixed flour and corn flour. For gluten free they prepare corn tortillas.

We were looking for a late night dinner spot on our last night in Canmore and this place did not disappoint. Wonderfully crafted cocktails and simple but well executed food. I ordered the steak frites and my girlfriend got the gluten free fish and chips. My steak was cooked perfectly and her fish and chips were crispy and delicious. We both ordered the same cocktail, The East Tea, which was made with Japanese whisky and green tea. It was delicious, refreshing and heavy on the whisky, which we appreciated lol. The atmosphere was great, we sat outside and enjoyed the music selection as well. All in all it was a great experience and a place we will definitely come back too when in the area.

I ordered takeout. I’ve done this often, as it was normally an okay spot for me to order food off of the GF menu. This last time was very different. There is no way my food was prepared in a gluten free manner. I haven’t been that sick in a very long time. I haven’t ever had an issue at this location before so this was very unexpected. I reached out to the location via their internal portal and got no reply. So I don’t think I’ll consider them a trusted spot to eat anymore. Very disappointed with the experience.

I really like this place, delicious food and wide range of dishes. I tried sandwiches, cesar salad and mac and cheese, all of these were tasty and fresh. One more benefit is the fact that you can order gluten-free options.

May 25. We enjoyed very nice cocktails here during happy hour 2 to 5. We also had lunch. Pizza was also included in the happy hour. They catered for gluten free as they had a separate fryer and also adapted the burger by serving it in lettuce instead of a bun.

As a family with celiac disease, finding a safe and truly delicious dining experience can be a challenge—but Lupo exceeded all our expectations! From the moment we walked in, the staff was knowledgeable, kind, and completely accommodating to our gluten-free needs. This was one of the best meals I have ever experienced! We enjoyed the chicken parmigiana, which was perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside—completely gluten-free and absolutely amazing. The pesto pasta was fresh and flavorful, with a sauce that tasted homemade and rich without being heavy. And the chocolate cake? Decadent, moist, and hands-down one of the best gluten-free desserts we’ve ever had. Lupo is a must-visit for anyone looking for safe, delicious, and thoughtfully prepared gluten-free food. We left full, happy, and already planning our next visit!

It was the most mouth watering breakfast place I’ve been to in a while. There were too many delicious looking options to choose from. We got the bacon cheeseburger hash and cookie butter pancakes and extra potatoes. The eggs were cooked to perfection. The waitress was helpful and friendly, accommodating my party’s needs. Some gluten free options available. Definitely would recommend (this was our second time here in 3 days)

Amazing, quiet place for a Saturday afternoon. The food was amazing, and so was the service. We’re very happy with our visit. They have a lot of gluten-free options and are also kid-friendly, providing kids’ tableware. The Belladot is the cat robot that brings the food to the table. My son loved it!

I am so glad Campio has landed in Ritchie! The atmosphere and plethora of beverage offerings are awesome. The only thing I would give as feedback is that it is extremely hard as an individual with celiac to eat here. Their menu is rife with GF and GF+ items, which excited me at first, however, there is an absolute risk of cross-contamination due to the lack of separate fryers or prep space. I appreciated the staff's confirmation of this, but it makes it really hard to go here now. Liquid diet it is!

Have been here multiple times and never had an issue with the service, but the other day I went in with my friend who has celiac disease and she ordered the corn tortillas when my other friend and I ordered flour. When the food came out it seemed like me and my non celiac friends tacos were on corn tortillas and my celiac friends looked like it was on flour. Having already verbalized a celiac disease to the waitress, we called her over to double check and make sure that the tacos were properly plated and she said that they were rang in and brought out correctly. My celiac friend later had a reaction and I find it hard to believe that the tortillas she got were the correct corn ones. I understand an honest mistake on ringing in food, but even when we clarified with the waitress she didn't seem sure that they were the correct tortillas despite saying that they were, and she did not offer to double check either. There would be nothing else that could've made my friend have a reaction other than those tacos.

I visited Donna’s for the first time today and was thoroughly impressed. I ordered a gluten-free clubhouse sandwich, which was absolutely delicious. When I inquired about gluten-free donairs, the owner enthusiastically confirmed they offer them, and to my surprise, he even brought one out for me to try. The food was outstanding, the staff were warm and welcoming, and the entire experience was wonderful. I’ll definitely be returning—highly recommended!

Quick service. Gluten free can be accommodated. I recommend stating that it’s an allergy. I said I was gluten intolerant, instead an allergy, and got glutened. I have never been glutened when I said it was an allergy. Their Dagwood is my favorite sandwich.

My experience at the place was amazing. Staff Miss Yashica and Vivek was very friendly and attentive. My husband and I were greeted with the smile when we entered the place. I am bit fussy with my choices of food, they patiently made my bowl with extra veggies and less sauce. Food- Veggies were freshly cut and they looked clean. Food was served hot. Great options was available like Gluten Free, lactose free and halal food. Ambiance - Place was neat and presentable. Washroom was clean with all the essentials. Place was warm so you could eat your meal in comfort. Staff was professional and very vigilant to attend guest. They changed their gloves each time before making next order. Place like this need a big shout out as it’s not only the food but how you were treated with the staff makes the difference. Thankyou Miss yashica and Vivek for giving us exceptional service… you guys standout 🙌

Great, authentic Neapolitan pizza, and good wine. I had a classic Margherita, but there's a very wide selection of other pizzas, including vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free ones. Many other dishes as well. The servers were super nice and helpful. I will definitely be coming back for more.

Kenya and Bithania made my experience so very special. They were so incredibly welcoming and friendly, and made me feel super comfortable throughout my time there. Bithania was very helpful and knowledgeable regarding my gluten intolerance, aswell as any other questions I had for her. I ordered a warm potato salad and a grilled chicken breast, which was absolutely delicious! I will definitely be returning to this location:)

Dined here on the weekend, I have mixed feelings about our experience. First, I want to say our servers were very polite and attentive, did everything right, so no issues there. The atmosphere was also really great; we are locals to the area and this was our first time visiting Banff Springs. Before booking our reservation, I communicated with staff to ensure I would be able to order from the Castello menu, as I cannot have gluten, dairy, or raw tomato. Staff assured me that they took note of my dietary restrictions and that they would be able to accommodate me - awesome, we were really looking forward to our meal. Fast forward, I was choosing my dish, and asked if the risotto could be made dairy free - the kind waitress checked with the kitchen and confirmed that yes, no dairy would be added, but that pistachio oil could be used as a substitute to not lose the creaminess of the dish; so that's what I went with as my safe option. I received the plate and confirmed with the server "it's gluten and dairy free right?" to which he replied "yes, all of the above" (I've learned to always double check, because mistakes happen). Anyway, let me tell you, this risotto tasted incredible.. we were so hungry after quite a busy day, and it was really hitting the spot - so much flavour, very creamy and cooked just right - wonderful, until I realised there was something on top that looked like a shaved cheese. We immediately got the attention of the waitress, and asked her if it was dairy free, and if that was cheese on top. She looked at it, and said she wasn't sure, that it shouldn't be cheese because she told the kitchen about my allergies, but that she would check. The chef came out a few moments later and when he asked me how it was, I told him it was delicious, but that I was concerned that the dish contained dairy. He proceeded to tell me that the dish was dairy free, and that the cheese on top was a certain kind of "sheep cheese, not cow cheese", and therefore safe for me to eat because there is no lactose or anything dairy in it. I tried to explain to him that I can't have any kind of dairy - dairy is not just from cow... if it's made from any sort of animal milk, it is dairy and I expected a chef, especially at a fine dining restaurant of all places, to know this information, especially if the menu claims to have gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options as this one did. The chef didn't seem to pleased with what I was telling him, but he did offer to remake my dish or suggested "eat it and find out that maybe sheep cheese is something you can have" after I told him I had eaten goat cheese before and not reacted as badly as I do with cow dairy products - feeling a little awkward at this point and not wanting to wait another half hour for a new dish while my partner enjoyed his meal, I did turn down his offer to remake the dish, so that's on me, I understand that. I ended up scraping the visible cheese off the top and gave it to my boyfriend to eat, but am now unfortunately experiencing a breakout because of it (thankful my allergy is not a severe one). I'm really not one to complain, but after thinking about this, I felt the need to say something as allergies should be taken seriously - what if somebody with a more severe reaction was to experience the same service I did. Mistakes happen, that's understandable, but to not really understand what "dairy" means when working at a high-class restaurant is what I don't get. The fact that I confirmed my allergies on the phone, then upon first interaction with staff after being seated, again when inquiring about the specific dish, and finally when it arrived at the table, and I still got served dairy, is just sad. For the price we paid to dine here, I guess we had higher expectations. 3/5 because I want to at least credit the waitress, server, and bartender for their job well done. I'm not sure if we will give the restaurants here another chance out of fear of a similar experience. Waldhaus seems to have more allergy-friendly options so maybe will try in the future.

Ordered the gluten-free chicken souvlaki and a gluten-free pizza for delivery. The dishes were delivered hot and packed well so nothing became soggy. Great gluten-free pizza crust (my new favorite place for pizza) and the gluten-free pita was OFF THE WALL in taste and texture.
