If you're gluten intolerant without celiac, I highly recommend the death by chocolate without the cake but with chocolate flakes. The sweet young lady behind the counter recommended it to this chocolate lover. So good!

What a great find! New to Deland and friends recommended. This is NOT your typical ice cream place. Their flavors are creative and unique! They start with basic chocolate and vanilla flavors and build new taste sensations. Our banana bread Flavor of the Day was amazing. They even have gluten free ice cream sandwiches! The simple vibe is enhanced by a killer play list for the background music that seemed to have something for every generation. Service is college-age casual, but perfectly fine for this location near Stetson University.
