Yellowfinn Grill & Sushi Bar

Yellowfinn is a Sugar House gem serving exquisite Japanese food in an environment that exudes major neighborhood pub energy. I don't recall ever feeling more at home or authentically welcomed to a place on my first visit. The menu is about 80% gluten free, so it makes it easy for diners with those issues. I recommend the hamachi nigiri, Utah roll and tempura banana for dessert. The creamesicle saketini is perfect. This is a place you need to try.

Cucumber salad was salty and sparse. Wife had a roll with yam, but the menu didn't say that it had tempura breading on it and she is gluten free. I had Hamachi Kama that was phenomenal, the best I've ever had, huge portion, very tasty. I would go back for the kama alone!
