Yummy Bowl Mongolian Stir-Fry & Sushi

A clean and new (open 1 year) choice in Mongolian Grill in the Wilmington (Elsmere) area. We dined on a Sunday evening with a party of eight. The atmosphere was lively and slightly louder than average. The staff is eager to seat guests and to explain the format. Two main options are 1) ordering set entrees from a menu or 2) the Mongolian Grill (most popular) where it’s a set price of about $20 for first bowl; an additional $4 for the second bowl. The station where you choose your meats, sauces & spices is directly in front of the grill, and the vegetables, noodles and other toppings are around the “L” shape to the right. Items are labeled on the glass including gluten free (the fonts are a bit difficult to read). Once you prepare your bowl, you slide your tray in front of the grill along with a card (obtained from the server when you choose the grill) indicating your table number and name. HINT: you’ll get better value by choosing your meats first then other toppings such as noodles & veggies! Once finished, you slide your tray toward the end where a server confirms your name & table and tells you they’ll bring your food back to your table when ready. Despite my initial apprehensions concerning the potential for cross contamination to occur on the community grill (several orders were being grilled simultaneously along with my wife’s order that must be gluten free due to celiacs disease), we were relieved to not have any issues. 🙏 My only complaint / criticism is that several of our orders seemed to contain a bit too much oil. Next time we’ll be sure to request less oil. Considering the friendly & attentive servers and manager / owner we observed, any special requests, etc., should be considered without issue.

My family and I ate here last night for the first time, and I must say the food was delicious. The atmosphere was very welcoming. I have to be careful with gluten and egg for my son as he has an egg allergy and they have a good selection of gluten free options for us. I told the worker I had these allergies and they cleaned the stove before cooking my food. We will definitely be coming again! So worth checking it out!
