I visited this place on a Friday morning when it was somewhat busy. I liked that they offer both indoor and outdoor dining options. The menu is extensive, allowing you to mix and match one to three items from each section. For example, you can choose two pancakes or one eggs benedict, making it easy to try a variety of dishes. I ordered one eggs benedict, one gingerbread pancake, and a cappuccino. My friend ordered gluten-free English muffins, which was a nice option to have. The food was great—especially the gingerbread pancake, which had exceptional flavors. However, the coffee was burnt and much too hot. The service follows a European style, which meant a more relaxed pace, but at times it felt a bit inattentive. Overall, the food was good, and the atmosphere was pleasant.

Great brunch spot. Good gluten free options. They have GF bread, but warning that the eggs Benedict sauce does have gluten, even though marked GF option due to the English muffin substitute. Really appreciate that tips are included in the price and that they take care of their staff with full benefits. Like most places in SF, there isn’t reservations but have a yelp waitlist iPad. About an hour wait on weekends, but close location to GGP for a pre-brunch walk.

We were super excited to come here after hearing how well they treat their waitstaff. My boyfriend got an eggs Benedict with white cheddar and pico. He really enjoyed his dish. The coffee was decent but a little acidic so I wouldn’t call it amazing. One thing to note is that if you have an allergy, you probably want to steer clear of this place. Their kitchen is super tiny (which they are very upfront about) and they couldn’t guarantee that my eggs wouldn’t come into contact with avocado which I’m very allergic to, so I ended up getting the gluten free pancakes (also allergic to gluten) which our server nicely explained was the safest option. Well, I have to say, I usually am happy for anything gluten free, but this dish really should be removed from the menu or reworked. It was terrible. Basically it tasted like oatmeal banana mush fried in a pan. There was not significant topping options to hide this either, so I ended up ordering a cup of strawberries (setting me back an extra $6) in an attempt to make it edible. They need to use a flour mix, top it with a berry compote, or try something else because those gluten free pancakes are horrible, and this is coming from someone typically thrilled for anything gluten free. I’ve had pancakes made with similar ingredients that were good, but this was just a major fail. But overall service was great and if you can eat anything, you’ll definitely still like it here.
