I have been coming to Lakeview for many years, the gluten free selection perfectly meets my celiac needs! The products may be great, but the constant rude customer service I encounter makes me question why I still support this bakery. Customer service is so important especially for a small business like this bakery, why is it that I get sassy comments when I am simply confirming that a certain unlabelled item is gluten free, or I can’t decide which flavour of cupcake I want and in return I get a big ol eye roll… these are just a couple examples of the horrible customer service I have received on multiple occasions. Why I continue to go back to this bakery and give them my money, despite how great the food is, I don’t know. I hope you take this review into account, as I have talked to other celiacs who purchase from this bakery and have had similar experiences with the staff! It’s not hard to just be kind and have patience!!

WOW. Just wow. Where to begin… what an amazing little spot, located in the perfect area of mission. Ambience is amazing- quaint, well decorated and intimate, with giant windows for natural light and people watching. Insanely good wine list here, there’s truly something for everyone. Don’t even talk to me about the food. I wish I could have everything on the menu at once, everything we had was absolutely incredible. We tried a pasta dish as well as one of their dinner specials and seriously contemplated getting a second order of everything to go because it was THAT good. For how full we were, and the quality of food, the price point was MORE than acceptable, worth every penny and then some. Lots of gluten free options as well, though this was not applicable to me it is nice to see. The service from JD was impeccable. Would have never known he was new as he was knowledgable, attentive, and overall awesome. He really made a great experience an unforgettable one. I can’t wait to come back, it may have to be tomorrow because I think I will dream of this place. This place is a must try- don’t think about it, book now if you love yourself.
