Disappointed by the quality of the products.
16 euros for a tasteless industrial mozzarella and a low-end cured ham as a starter is clearly excessive, beyond being of no interest to the palate.
The same goes for the pizza: the poor-quality mozzarella and ham, extremely salty, spoiled the overall experience. I didn't even finish my dish, which never happens to me.
It's a shame to offer dishes at this price without paying more attention to the quality of the ingredients. Offering gluten-free options isn't everything, even if the gluten-free pizza dough was quite good.
The food itself is nothing exceptional—which isn't particularly surprising when you hear "bacon/sour cream" and "carbonara pasta" in the same sentence… It's easy to understand that this isn't an authentic trattoria 😅
But with better quality ingredients, the experience would already be much more enjoyable.
Finally, the service leaves something to be desired: we had asked to dine outside, but the waiter refused to push two tables together. Twenty minutes later, we saw that he had actually done so for another group. A rather blatant lack of consideration.
If you want pasta or a good pizza, frankly, I advise you to move on. And if you don't eat gluten and still want pasta or pizza… you know what to expect! Personally, next time I'd skip the pizza and dine on a good meat somewhere else.
This spacious spot offers a warm, European ambiance with sunlit outdoor seating overlooking a lively square. The friendly, helpful staff enhance the experience, making it a welcoming choice for those seeking gluten-free dining options in a vibrant setting.

We had lunch here and the pasta was really good, timing and quality was exceptional. As the pizza is cooked on the same surface as the normal pizza it took it off the menu unfortunately.
Otherwise the service was awesome, the waiters offered suggestions and were knowledgeable on GF options
This intimate eatery near a historic entrance offers a beautifully designed, cozy setting with around ten tables and a lovely bathroom despite its small size. Its friendly, efficient service complements the gluten-free and vegan focus, making it ideal for those seeking a safe, welcoming dining experience.

The best vegan restaurant in the city.
Of all the vegan restaurants we have been to in Nice, this one is undoubtedly the best.
Varied menu to choose from.
We shared a cheese board with gluten-free bread that we ordered on the side and it was delicious.
The porcini crêpe with cheese is wonderfully flavourful, the best I've had in a long time. The burger is delicious and the brownie with ice cream is spectacular. We are delighted.
Good quantity, correct price.
We recommend 100%

A pure moment of culinary bliss. The Citrus restaurant offers a warm, intimate, and welcoming atmosphere. Three colleagues were visiting Nice, looking for a memorable dinner—and we were delighted.
A huge thank you to Clara, our exceptional waitress. Her sincere smile, palpable passion for cooking, and detailed explanations of the menu enriched our entire experience. She perfectly embodies the art of attentive and professional service.
Everything on the plate was exquisite:
• Starters: I chose the scallops served in their shells, accompanied by crisp vegetables and Thai-spiced butter—a refined and perfectly executed starter. One of my colleagues enjoyed the sea bream ceviche, fresh and colorful.
• Main Courses: My two colleagues savored the confit Iberian pork shoulder, a tender and flavorful dish. For my part, the grilled swordfish, accompanied by tandoori sweet potato purée and coconut cream, was exceptionally tender and delicately seasoned.
• Desserts: The Citrus-style tiramisu was a real favorite with my colleagues. For my part, the gluten-free intense chocolate cake, served with sweet ginger ice cream, was to die for.
• Drinks: The recommended wine was delicious, and the coffee at the end of the meal was simply perfect.
The atmosphere was calm, well-located, ideal for a quiet chat. We warmly recommend this establishment. Thanks again to Clara, who deserves our full recognition.

Everything we ordered was delicious:
• Starters: I had the scallops served in shells with vegetables and Thai-spiced butter — beautifully presented and perfectly cooked. One of my friends enjoyed the sea bream ceviche, which was fresh, colorful, and flavorful.
• Main courses: My two companions ordered the slow-cooked Iberian pork shoulder with ginger onion jam — rich and satisfying. I had the grilled swordfish, which was incredibly tender, served with tandoori sweet potato puree and coconut cream. A perfect balance of flavor.
• Desserts: The Citrus-style tiramisu was a highlight for them. I chose the gluten-free dark chocolate lava cake with sweet ginger ice cream — heavenly.
• Drinks: The recommended wine was spot on, and the coffee at the end was excellent.
The setting is calm, cozy, and well-located — perfect for a relaxing dinner. We highly recommend this gem. Heartfelt thanks again to Clara for her outstanding service.
