We have been going on holiday to the Algarve with our family for a few years now and we never miss Bailote. We have tried quite a few things on the menu – meat, fish, tapas, pasta and pizza – and we are always very satisfied. I eat gluten-free myself, and this is one of the few places in the area where I have so much choice. Pizzas, bread, burgers, salads: it is not only on the menu, it is also incredibly good! The warm atmosphere and the great service make it complete. Definitely recommended!

Discovered this brunch in the old town of Aljezur. A nice hippie atmosphere, but not very cozy if you want to feel comfortable while eating 😅 Very good acai bowl granola, as well as the gluten-free banana bread. Lots of vegan and gluten-free options, which are pretty good!

Nice location of the restaurant next to the market in Olhão, nice staff (most of them do not speak English, but the menu is available in several languages ​​and online). The heavy traffic of cars on the street was a bit disturbing when choosing a place in the garden outside. Food good, gluten free pizza correct. Nice time at lunch. A big plus for a conscious gluten-free option.

Great cafe with top-notch coffee and food. The pancakes are amazing for breakfast, just make sure that you are hungry. Also they have a brilliant selection of gluten free and vegan cakes.

Do not eat if gluten free. Booked a table for 7:30pm outside. Arrived to be seated inside with broken AC (told not cleaned) Too hot to eat inside so we asked to wait to be seated outside as requested. They offered us drinks while we waited. Took a long time to arrive and all arrived separately, having asked for a couple of the drinks numerous times. Finally sat down on a table they created in a space which was available on our arrival - pushed by another table of 6 arriving at 8pm. No food arrived until 9:20pm by which time we had been at the restaurant for 2 hours. Despite asking for gluten free food options 3 times, the waiter seemed unsure as to what was and wasn’t. He checked with the chef, verified and came back to us. We happily ate the ‘gluten free’ options given to us. Less than 30 mins later I have reacted to gluten in a way that can only be eating actually gluten and not cross contamination. Very poor service, food and allergy requests not catered for despite their clear advertising of the opposite. Will never go back.

First of all, the coffee is exceptional, this is an absolute must-visit (every morning) for a great cuppa. Next up is the vegan treats! My son is allergic to eggs and dairy and has had a really tough time finding anything he can have, I was amazed to find the bakery section was all either vegan or gluten free. Cue very excited 3 year old to be included! The staff have been extremely welcoming, even when I've been turning up at opening on the dot to have a coffee before work! (Sorry!) There is a genuinely lovely collection of staff so very kind and inclusive. Ohh AND - the list goes on, I know - you can also work from here. It's not overly crowded, a real-life hidden gem with great coffee, great staff and a quiet place to work.

Very very warm welcome, and good atmosphere. We feel that everyone is happy in this restaurant, including the customers. For my part, I ordered a gluten-free pizza and it was prepared for me without any problem. My husband had a seafood one, it was so good that we went back.

Finally a decent gluten free pizza! This was the first time ever that I had a gluten free pizza with a thick crust and even though the pizza was a little small, it was delicious. The staff was very attentive and even warned me about crossed contamination.

I had the absolute pleasure of dining at Ricardos pizzeria, and I can’t say enough good things about it! The staff were warm and welcoming and the food was absolutely delicious. One of our party is a coeliac and there was a great variety of dishes to choose from, which is sometimes difficult to find. And the tiramisu is to die for ! Couldn’t recommend this place enough and we will be back!

They had 3 gluten free pasta choices (penne, spaghetti and fusilli) combined with any of the sauces. We had bolognese and boar ragu. Delicious!! Olives and cheese were amazing too. Real Italian. My only frustration was that we told them we were gluten free and they brought us bread with the olives and cheese appetizer. We asked three times if it was gluten free and were reassured it was. The third time the server said no it wasn’t. My husband had already eaten some of it. I’d be very cautious if you are celiac.

Exceptionally Gluten Free friendly! I had the gluten free wrap (which is hard to find often even in the UK)! They can change almost all breads wraps burger buns etc. It was exactly what we wanted. Lovely staff

Very good food but we are quite disappointed by the drastic increase of prices year after year. Vegan dish went from 20 euros to 15 euros in a couple of years … and on top of that service is not included ! It’s quite expensive for Portugal. Apart from that, very friendly service ! Delicious and SUPER pet friendly! We were actually just looking for a quick coffee break with our dog, and we would have stayed for hours! They invited us inside even with our big dog, and the owner brought a water bowl for her even before we sat down. The coffee and gluten free sweets were fantastic, and the couple who own the place were so friendly in such a familiar way. We would definitely go back to Silves just to go back there! Highly recommended!

We went tonight with our coeliac child. We were assured her choices were gluten free. They were not. She was vomiting within 30 minutes of taking the food. We will never go again. The staff did not care. We ordered the bill before we completed our plates. They did not even question why we did not want desert and were leaving early. Very disappointing to say the least. Do not go if you are gluten intolerant or allergic.

Brilliant food & service! Accommodated a group of 10, able to book online earlier on the same day. Allergens are clearly labelled on the menu and I had some really lovely gluten free tapas dishes. Locations is lovely with both indoor and outdoor seating and some live music.

The team is super friendly, helpful and full of good energy. They explained everything patiently, gave suggestions with pleasure and really showed that they care about the customer. It always feels good to be welcomed like this. As for the food... simply delicious! The bowls are colorful, well-served and made with the freshest ingredients. I tried a bowl with salmon and avocado and it was incredible — with a great balance of flavors and textures. I also loved the fact that I could customize it to my taste, from the base (rice, quinoa, salad...) to the sauces and toppings. Ideal for those who like to create their own combination! They also have vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options, which is great for those with dietary restrictions. And they also serve very tasty smoothies and natural drinks. The price is fair, especially considering the quality of the ingredients and the size of the portions. I highly recommend it to anyone in Lagos looking for a healthy, tasty meal in a super pleasant environment.

I can only speak for the ice cream parlor. Not only do they offer incredible quality, their prices match the quantity. Generous ice creams, they don't skimp, we love it! Plenty, you'll be satisfied. The service is 10/10, kindness, friendliness, and respect. The cleanliness, space, and comfort are immediately apparent. Of all the shops in Praia Rocha, we became customers of this one in particular because we're a family of five, and spending the money on a treat, on a trip to Cletonia Helados, makes it worth every penny. They also have lactose-free, gluten-free, and sugar-free ice cream. And something very special: THEY HAVE DULCE DE LECHE!!

Absolutely unreal! Been here three straight days on vacation and this is the breakfast I’ve always dreamed of having on vacation. The consistency is impeccable, food amazing, and presentation even better. Servers r very considerate about allergies and the menu has multiple different options including vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, and nut free. The only thing I can’t stand is the bugs flying around but that’s out of their control, I’m just not used to the EU yet. If ur in the area, this is definitely a must try. If u don’t want to sit down they have a to go spot around the corner. Their art is a chefs kiss!
