Not the experience we hoped for.
We visited Bella Italia today and were a bit disappointed. I had the gluten-free pasta bolognese, which was £15 – the portion felt quite small and the sauce was minimal, so I left still feeling hungry. My 9-year-old son had the larger size pizza from the kids menu and was still hungry afterwards too. Luckily the dessert included distracted him.
Staff were friendly and doing their best, but it seemed like they were a short-staffed, which affected the overall service.
It’s a shame as this used to be one of our regular spots before Covid – we always had great meals and service back then. While the £1 kids’ meal offer is a great incentive, unfortunately the overall quality didn’t quite live up to what we remember.
Hoping things improve as we’d love to enjoy coming back again in the future.

I visited the restaurant on Sunday, 18th May, with my family for my daughter's birthday, and we were served by Michelle. Michelle was great, attentive, and very professional, I am gluten-free, and I didn't have any problems with any of the dishes on the day and Michelle made sure my food was served to me first! Fantastic service, thank you. Little mention to say thanks to Mitch who was the grill chef on the day.

Nice breakfast, went for a catchup with friends and my family. Restaurant was clean and tidy, cutlery was clean unlike a lot of restaurants nowadays, music was good quality as well as suitable and service was good. Food was nice as well. All in a great dining experience and would go again. Only feedback is would be good to have the option for gluten free sausages. They catered for my intolerances, swapping the egg, gluten free bread and dairy free alternative for my ice latte. Also to have been left a little longer before asking if the foods ok, i hadn’t even started. But all is good. I didn’t say so cannot comment on the rooms. But from a dining perspective much nicer than the likes of premier inn and holiday inn.
