Good service from a polite young man. Gorgeous location with beautiful views!
My husband enjoyed the steak + chips.
£4 for a tiny pot of peppercorn sauce though!
I chose the beef roast which was not enjoyable- beef was bland & tough, roasties had a strange but bland taste (no seasoning at all, not sure what they were cooked in!), pigs in blankets were tasteless & like rubber. Very very disappointing! No gluten free Yorkshire option.
Childs menu - the burger bun was burnt and the burger overdone. No mention of the bun being covered in sesame seeds on the childs menu.
Wont be returning sadly :(

We have just had a most pleasant 2 night stay at Caley Hall Hotel, booked via secret escapes. We stayed in a superior room which met expectations, clean, spacious, comfortable bed, good selection and plentiful complimentary tea and coffee and large walk in shower. The only thing that could have made it better was a bath as well as shower for those that prefer it.
The food equally was to a high standard and did not disappoint . The breakfast choice included continental and cooked, with a good variety of gluten free foods available, including GF croissants - a rare treat. We ate in the restaurant on both nights so had a good taste of the moderate but varied choice of meals. all meals were good quality food that was very well cooked, with plenty of GF options across the full menu.
The glue that bought this whole experience together to make the 5/5 awarded is undoubtedly the staff who were polite friendly, professional, considerate and personable, taking an interest in their guests and making sure all our needs were met, particularly Tim the maintenance man and Maria who worked in the restaurant. Both are credited with making our stay more enjoyable.
The hotel itself is set in beautiful surroundings and only 10 minutes walk to old Hunstanton beach, through the local golf course. With Hunstanton town and beach approx 3 miles along the coast. Plenty of opportunity for some good coastal walks as well as family days in the sand..
All in all a very relaxing and enjoyable two night stay. I feel sure we will come back for more.
