Top 12 Gluten-Free Accommodating Spots to Relax in Saratoga Springs

We went to the Saratoga Springs location at 8pm on 6/21/2025. When I walked in, there were 10 people in line and though there were 5 teenage boys standing there talking, not a single person making the entrees at the front of the line. About 2 minutes later, an adult male, who appeared to be the shift supervisor, walked in from outside, put on an apron, grabbed gloves and started making orders. It took 20 minutes for me to get to the front of the line. This location has always been great at changing gloves upon request for "Gluten friendly". I requested it, as I always do, and this same guy politely agreed and took off his gloves and threw them away. Here's the part that was the reason for this review. Before putting on new gloves, he took his hat off, right there by the chips and ran both of his hands aggressively through his hair, scratching his head for about 10 seconds before putting his hat on and grabbing new pair of gloves and fulfilling my order. GROSS, GROSS, and more GROSS. I have been a restaurant manager and am well aware of Food Service Health codes. 1st time he came back on the line he should have washed his hands. And the 2nd violation, just gross, so many things wrong with that one. If he wasn't the supervisor, I would have mentioned it to the supervisor right then. This was also on top of other employees drinking beverages behind the serving line. I've been coming to this location for years now. Not sure I will be able to bring myself back.

We love Mod. It's always a great visit when we go! Today, we went and there was only 1 employee working. 2 had called in sick and he couldn't get anyone to come in and cover. AJ was fantastic! When we walked in, there was a group of 9 in front of us and another handful before them. Then another couple walked in behind my husband and I. AJ had his hands full with the amount of pizzas he had to make. He handled it with a great attitude and was so friendly to everyone! I ordered the cauliflower crust for my gluten intolerance. Without me having to ask, AJ was cautious with the way he prepared my food to ensure as little cross contamination as possible happened. After getting all of the pizzas out, AJ walked around and asked everyone how their food was and if he could get them/us anything. Hats off to AJ! He is a great example of what we should be seeing in customer service.

Usually we love Chubbies, but the past few times it has taken too long to get our food. We went in on a Friday at 2:45, there was only one other couple in the building, the tables and floor were all dirty. When we went to order the guy taking our orders did not understand what we were trying to communicate with him. We want a kids meal cheeseburger with a gluten free bun, all he typed in was gluten free and I had to tell him about 3 times that there is a a way to make sure that the gluten free bun is on the order and it's .89 cents, he finally figured it out. Then we ordered a Chubby Deluxe with ketchup only and no pickles or onions. Again, we communicated this over and over that we did not want pickles or onions, just to put ketchup on it. Instead he put no sauce, ketchup only, so it came out with none of the original sauce that they put, the burger had onions and pickles. I did not think we were being confusing with our order. When the kids meal came out it had no fries so I had to remind them that it came with fries, it also took over 20 minutes for 2 burgers to come out with only one other couple in the building. When people are taking orders they need to know the buttons on computer and communicate with the customers if they are confused on what they want!

Not impressed. We loved the Cubby's in Lehi, but every time we come to this location, something is wrong. Tonight we came and ordered 3 gluten free burgers and fries in the drive-thru. It was $60 for THREE burgers and 3 fries, wow. They asked us to pull forward in the waiting spot and we waited 20m. Then they brought our food out and my sweet potato fries were burned. Black. I had to walk them back inside and wait another 10m to get fresh ones. The staff was nice about it, but the whole experience is just not good. While I waited for my fries to be re-made, another lady came and asked where HER sweet potato fries were and as I watch, half the staff behind the counter are just standing around. Not coming back to this location. Too expensive to have to deal with extra stuff like this.
