Outstanding food and vibe. Service was excellent. Lisa was our server, and gets 5 stars as well.

My husband and I came here to celebrate my birthday. We just came in for a good gluten free dessert and they had a couple of options. Jacob at the bar recommended the flourless chocolate cake. It was wonderful! Super moist and flavorful. I wasn’t planning on having a drink but Jacob recommended a chocolate martini and his version was the perfect twist on the original. I loved it! Service was great. Jacob was very personable and a great conversationalist. Can’t wait to come back for a full dinner! 😊

Great service, our large group was able to sit relatively quickly. Really good food. Burnin’ Love burger with the fried jalapeño medallions and Chipotle aioli is always a winner with me.
Everyone had different dietary restrictions, from no-sugar to gluten free to no dairy to no lots-of-things but everyone was able to eat something delicious.

There are few restaurants who allow in-person dining and fewer where the quality of the product is worth your time and money. But, Blueprint on 3rd elevated itself to the top of the Birmingham local food chain and has remained there thanks to the leadership of Owner/Operator Dean and Head Chef Puck!! When I called for what I thought was an impossible order Dean checked with the Chef then emailed and called me back with what was the best meal I’ve had alllllll pandemic and beyond!!! He provided an exquisite 3-course meal mindful of our gluten-free, vegetarian and meat lovers desires that was ready at/before pick-up time which a smiling and happy team presented in symphony!! My goodness, how wonderful an afternoon we had with this meal and we will forever remember the day we dined with Blueprint on 3rd!!!

Gluten friendly it is not. If you have celiac you won’t be able to eat here, period.
My family decided to eat here because usually Mexican restaurants are easy to navigate with a gluten intolerance. This was probably the most difficult restaurant I’ve ever visited, aside from maybe a bakery. The manager said they recently changed their roasted chicken and it now contains gluten, so there was not a single protein I could eat. That was a challenge I’ve never encountered. The queso had it. Even the ranch dip on the table contained gluten—which I ate prior to the manager letting me know— it never occurred to me ranch might have it. Again, something I’ve never seen before.
I will say the staff was extremely nice about it, which is why I didn’t take the review under 3 stars. They even comped my meal for the issues (the first dish they brought out clearly had ingredients the manager mentioned had gluten) and never charged me for the guacamole taco they had to replace it with, which was completely unnecessary but appreciated.
If they had just one protein option it would’ve been an completely different experience. I’ve never been to a sit down restaurant where I couldn’t even order a protein—-usually it’s the go to fallback. With it being such a common issue, I hope one day they can try to be just a little accommodating, especially given that it’s widely assumed a Mexican restaurant will have plenty of options.
This spacious spot offers a relaxed outdoor patio and an engaging open kitchen view, creating a lively atmosphere enhanced by live guitar music. The attentive staff ensure a welcoming experience, making it ideal for those seeking gluten-free dining with care and knowledge.

When I saw this place for the first time, I knew it would be special! The staff here treat everyone so kindly! One young host named Kelly brought us to our table, and I was shocked that she knew so much about the menu & gluten free options even though she wasn't a waiter! She even checked on us to make sure we liked what she recommended! We ordered a chopped chicken salad (gluten free) and the Rainbow trout! So good! All the unique flavors that they incorporate into their dishes blend so well together! We enjoyed being able to see into the kitchen!! Can't wait to come back!!
This lively eatery offers a vibrant atmosphere with both indoor and covered patio seating, making it an inviting spot for brunch. The attentive service and generous portion sizes enhance the experience, ideal for those seeking a gluten-free friendly brunch destination.

We have never been to this place and actually never heard of it. Saw it because I was there to visit another business. I am so glad we stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant. They are a heavy brunch geared eatery, and I love brunch. So many choices of items and the place was alive and vibrant. Our waitress ( I didn't recall her name) was amazing and on top of every need we had. We came in with a 4 top 3 adults and a kid and got out of there for less than 70$. To me that is a great deal considering the portion sizes and just the general ambiance of the place. We definitely recommend going and checking this place out, if not making it your full time brunch spot. I was also surprised at the vegan and gluten free options! You are missing out not trying at least once!!!
Cozy spot with delicious corn polenta cakes and a notable grilled chicken dish, mindful of gluten concerns.

The grilled chicken meal I had there was 10/10. Loved it. I have a gluten allergy and I originally ordered a sandwich, thinking it would be on GF bread since it gave me the option to check off my allergy. Unfortunately, they do not have GF bread. When I arrived they immediately addressed it and said they weren’t sure so they went ahead and made it. Because it is an allergy for me, I did agree to let them make me something else. I chose the grilled chicken with honey mustard, along with the corn cake and slaw. They made it incredibly fast. I was a little disappointed not to have gotten the sandwich at first, but the meal I ended up getting was absolutely delicious! I come to Birmingham pretty often so I will return.
Nestled among historic skyscrapers, this elegant spot offers an intimate atmosphere perfect for special occasions. Thoughtful touches like handwritten anniversary cards and attentive service create a warm, welcoming setting ideal for guests with gluten allergies.
