Went to this restaurant with my godparents for lunch. The food is great. Service is great as well. The staff are very attentive and very friendly. I like the fact that they do have gluten-free and vegan options in their menu. I had a wonderful experience. I highly recommend this restaurant. I just wish they would open a branch in Saint Augustine.
Saint Augustine is a very touristy town and it is growing. A lot of people in Saint Augustine will be very happy if there will be a True Food Kitchen here.
Enjoy stunning river views and a lively atmosphere, plus a unique dedicated fryer for those craving crispy seafood without worries!

Excellent food and wonderful service. Everything on the menu that is fried can be made gluten free. That is AMAZING for celiacs to be able to choose from almost the entire menu. The gator appetizer was delicious - tender and so flavorful. We got a whole fried lion fish and it was spectacular. This meal was the highlight of our week in the area. Thanks to the kitchen and management for providing delicious and safe food for those who need to eat gluten free. ❤️
Get ready for a charming spot with elegant decor, over 1,000 wine bottles, a cozy wine bar, and a menu full of diverse options to explore.

O what an incredible meal we had at Cooper's Hawk! I'd seen a few people mention it in a local fb group and decided to take hubby for his birthday. He often eats gf to keep me safe and we had so many options!
They mentioned they just overhauled their gluten-free procedures not long ago and I felt very confident in all of our meal. Everything is made from scratch.
Started with a warm gf roll and butter
Appetizer: Bacon Wrapped Shrimp
Hubby's Plate: Blue Cheese Burger w/ Fries
My Plate: Cilantro Ranch Chicken Sandwich w/ Fries
Dessert: Truffles (as a birthday gift from Cooper's Hawk)
The bacon wrapped shrimp was probably my favorite part of the meal as the taste was one that just lingered. I mean fabulous. Just an incredible meal with great service and I didn't feel like I was missing out on anything. Also loved our server Christine.
Consistently impressive with a cozy vibe, this spot offers amazing desserts and unique drinks, perfect for a casual gathering or special night out.

BB's is consistently exceptional. I have never had anything short of an amazing experience at this restaurant. The food is always outstanding, with each dish hitting the mark. The service is top-notch, and the atmosphere creates the perfect setting for a delightful brunch, lunch, or dinner experience.
Let's talk about their desserts – they are absolute dream-inducers. On two separate Sundays, I invited friends to join me for lunch after Sunday service, introducing them to BB's for the first time. Without fail, each person left impressed and became a lifelong customer. Even I wonder if I'll be included in their return visits, as BB's continues to live up to its reputation.
As someone who requires gluten-free options, I am delighted that BB's offers an array of choices for me. On this visit, I relished the warm goat salad without the croutons, a truly delicious dish. In the past, I have also enjoyed their dangerously good gluten-free pizza. But the highlight was the GF caramel brownie, served with a generous scoop of vanilla bean ice cream. I attempted to practice self-control and only eat half, but the treat was too irresistible to resist. Before I knew it, I had devoured the entire bowl. So, a piece of advice: if you plan to indulge in their desserts, do so with caution. One bite or half of a serving will surely not be enough once you start.
In addition to their delectable menu, BB's boasts a full bar and a skilled bartender who concocts drinks that are simply exceptional. The overall experience at BB's is perfect for a girls' night out, a romantic date night, or even a small party celebration. Just be mindful of indulging too much, as stopping yourself from eating the entire dessert might prove to be a challenge.
I highly recommend BB's as a dining destination. The consistently great food, excellent service, and overall ambiance make it an ideal choice for any occasion. But I must warn you, proceed with caution – the temptations at BB's can be quite irresistible!

🍕 The Loop in San Marco is like stepping into a culinary time loop of awesome vibes and gluten-free pizza perfection. The atmosphere? Cooler than a polar bear's toenails (in a good way). And let's talk about that GF pizza—it's not just good, it's "I'd fight a velociraptor for the last slice" good. The employees? They're nicer than a grandma on Christmas morning. Seriously, they make you feel like you've just found the pizza oasis in a desert of ordinary eateries. Next time you're in Jax, skip the norm and loop into The Loop—you won't regret it!
A consistently clean and inviting spot with delicious offerings that keep diners coming back for more.

We stopped for lunch and were pleasantly surprised by the great food and service. Our server, Matt, recommended the Bison Burger, Avalon, and it was delicious. It’s nice to have gluten free dining options, too.

I fell in love with both the neighborhood and the restaurant. Their food is so good, and I can order almost anything I like due to the gluten free friendly substitutions. Instead of breaded chickun they grilled my soy curls unbreaded, substituted their house patty that has gluten for a Beyond burger, and served me both on GF buns. I was ecstatic!!! A restaurant where I can enjoy Plant-Based Comfort Food, then enjoy the fantastic nearby shops (I’ll share in upcoming posts) is everything my heart desires. 🥰
FYI: I caution anyone with Celiac’s disease that cross contamination is possible, and the fryer/grill are shared.
Gluten Free Fried Pickles: This was the #1 reason I wanted to eat here. Yes, their menu is amazing, but I wasn’t sure I could enjoy much even with a gluten free bun as an option. However, fried pickles have long been a favorite that I haven’t enjoyed in almost a decade, and this is the first restaurant I’ve seen that has them. They were so good, I would order them, even if they didn’t have anything else I could eat. But, thankfully, they do!
I had these as a side for the Buffalo Ranch Chickun, specifically prepared to be gluten friendly, per my request. It was absolutely delicious, and I cannot wait to eat it again! I'm also looking forward to another Black Cherry Tarragon Stubborn Soda because it was delicious.
Murray Hillbilly has a laid-back atmosphere with books to read and games to play while you wait for your food. There’s even a small assortment of items to buy including t-shirts, hand-crafted hats, and a variety of eco-friendly items. I had to try on the crochet hats. They were absolutely adorable, and for those who don’t know I used to not be able to wear hats because I had too much hair. 😆 I loved that each one was different not just in color but in style, and it was neat to see how they each looked on me. Perhaps next time I’ll leave with one.

The food is great. So is the service. The specialty menu (Gluten Sensitive, Lactose/Dairy Sensitive, Vegetarian, Vegan) is soooo helpful.
The one item for improvement is the table tops in the booths. They’re a little sticky - seemingly the beautiful finish on the wood top is difficult to clean.
They are kind enough to set out large napkins as a “table cloth” on request.
Enjoy a fantastic brunch experience here with generous portions and amazing pancakes that leave everyone raving about their flavor!

We were visiting Jacksonville from out of state and wanted to find somewhere with great Shrimp and Grits. When searching, Ida Claire came up and the menu looked great. Upon arrival we were immediately impressed by the atmosphere and warm welcome from the staff. The menu is 100% made from scratch and boy could you tell! The whole restaurant smelled fantastic! The food tasted superb and the staff was so kind and accommodating. My mother and I both have celiac so we got the shrimp and grits and our waitress made sure to let the kitchen know for cross contamination purposes. I eat shrimp and grits from all over and I believe this to have been the best I’ve had so far! We will definitely stop by here any/every time we are back in Jacksonville! The eclectic vibe and decor was also a huge plus! Every part of the restaurant is decorated uniquely!
Enjoy stunning waterfront views and a charming ambiance, perfect for special occasions, with creative cocktails and a stylish dining setup.

My husband and I celebrated our 18th anniversary here. We had the shrimp, crab, avocado, and mango, stack which was fresh and a pretty large appetizer for 2. I have a gluten allergy and the were able to accommodate me by by using a different, but GF, cracker; although it may have been a chip...
We chose the 10oz prime rib to share, which they brought out a second plate for us to divide our portions. We had side salads, my husband had the mashed potatoes, and we ordered the sizzling mushrooms to top it all off.
We went against the salad bar due to the expense of it, but walked by to check it out as we walked out. After seeing it, we were glad we went the wa6 we did. It did not look worth the expense, nor would we have kept going back for more.
Overall, it was a nice and satisfying meal. A lovely place to celebrate our anniversary.
Consistently awesome vibes with great prices, this spot guarantees delicious meals and welcoming service for repeat visits.

Very clean restaurant, great wait staff that were knowledgeable about gluten free requirement. Food was very good, reasonably priced. Will be returning!
We went to this location today specifically because my son with a gluten allergy loves to be able to get a hamburger and fries. Upon arriving we were told they were too busy to make gluten free French fries even though we were willing to wait no matter how long it took. It really wasn't that busy. My son was so disappointed I never want to come back here again. The Mandarin location would have never done this to us

The staff is extremely well trained in gluten and cross-contamination. They go the extra mile to clear a space while preparing your food. They will even breakdown the ingredients. They have 2 different gluten free breads. The best part is the gluten free brownies at the front counter. The chicken salad and potato salad are hugs.

exceptionally polite waitress. very easy to overorder, but the food was good and the prices were reasonable. they have narrowed their selection, and there are fewer gluten free options. still worth going to if you have celiac.
Really good sandwiches and deli foods. They even have gluten free bread! Super nice for lunch, if you are in a rush for lunch (30 mintues or less) order take out because they can sometimes be busy and take a longer than fast food places during the lunch rush but totally worth it.
This was the first place we visited on our USA trip. Service was phenomenal, maybe she was extra nice because my dad is a regular there. I had the salmon salad and it was fantastic. Something nice and light after a day of traveling. Dad had the daily special, he ate every bite. They said they normally have gluten free beer but on that occasion they were out. Will return before I leave.
Savor delicious, hearty meals in a relaxed atmosphere with plenty of options, and enjoy a spacious environment with quick service.

The food was great, I got green beans, hashbrowns, and 2 pancakes… bacon bits on the side and added it to the green beans and it was delicious. Although there’s not a “gluten free” menu there are options available such as the fish (which you can ask to be made without seasoning and then ask for lemon on the side if you’re unsure of the seasonings), baked potato, carrots, veggies, etc which are all gluten free. Other family members enjoyed their food as well (burger, steak, and stew) it was not too busy at 11am so a table was readily available. Our server was very attentive and helpful.

My sister and came here Dec 12 2024 as she recommended this place. We got hungry and waited on my sister's car to be fixed down the road. Beautiful decor as we walked in and clean. Right away we grab the menu, took a seat, chose our food then walked to register and ordered. Chose blue cheese chips(reccomend) and rosemary chips(tasted like reg potatoe chips). You get alot. Chose soup of the day bowl which was my favorite Italian wedding soup😋lovely suprise. Sis chose cup of onion cheesy soup. Looked delicious. We thought we ordered 2 side salads but they were big and fresh. Could of used more salad dressing next time. In all not bad 2 soups, 2 salads, 2 chips and 2 drinks for $45. Noticed business people stop by here and families as well. They do have kids menu and baby changing station here. There's gluten free and vegan options as well on menu.
Would love to come back and try their pizzas and sandwhiches.

They have everything I loved about the Riverside location and more! I stick with a gluten free diet and I've always been able to find a variety of options. Sometimes that means just protein + leafy greens and ditching the rolls. My 4 year old LOVED getting to assemble their own sandwich from the board. While we waited for the food we wandered around the market & florist which was filled with amazing goodies. We ended up getting a funky fall centerpiece of dried stems, it will last for seasons to come if I store it carefully. Ciera was at the register and was a great help while ordering and made the whole experience very pleasant & fun.
Service was fast! Food was good and we used outdoor seating as the bluegrass music was too loud inside and not our vibe. My friend wanted glutenfree options which were available but limited. The biscuit didnt knock my socks off but it was good. You bus your own tables here. Yes I would recommend.
Quick service and tasty options make this spot a go-to for a satisfying lunch break without the long wait.

NOT CELIAC FRIENDLY. I went there because i was told the owner has celiacs, as do I. After discussing that we were both celiac, the owner served me chips and told me they were safe, then later told me they were fried in the fryer with other gluten containing foods. I am now sick.
