Great food. Decent prices and our waitress was amazing. Walked past several times, not intruding, but also eying the table to make sure we didn't need anything. And the food was sooo good. Gluten free buns, pizza and pasta.

We went to Tavern on Clark for the 1st time tonight. The food was excellent! My girlfriend has a gluten allergy, and the waitstaff was very helpful and knowledgeable regarding that, which does not seem to be the case in most restaurants in the area. The waitstaff were totally on point, not missing a beat, regarding our entire dining experience. They have a good variety of selections to choose from, which can be from reasonably priced to higher end choices. All in all, we were totally satisfied and would highly recommend this as a spot to go to.
I love the staff here. Super friendly, patient and quick. They brought my mom a gluten free menu. It's also very family friendly. I see families with strollers and young children on the regular.
Cocktails are good quality (not from cheap bar mixes) and steaks are fabulous. Sides and seafood can be a bit greasy, but the health-conscious probably aren't going to a steakhouse. There are quite a few gluten free options that work for Celiac patients (my father is one and has never had an issue) but no vegetarian options.
