Super friendly people great gluten free and dairy free options. I’m not celiac but they asked great questions and would check if they weren’t sure of an answer.

Our server, Julia, was incredibly attentive, considerate and accommodating. We asked about some gluten free choices and she checked with the kitchen before placing the order. All four of us enjoyed our meals. It was a lovely night in the outside terrace seating area, which is surrounded by landscapes and is not directly on the street. It's quiet and relaxing on the terrace.
I had the Halibut which was served over lobster risotto and green beans topped by a bit of Beurre blanc, a buttery sauce. Halibut being my favorite fish. It was perfectly cooked, not overdone. Halibut is a fish that is overcooked in many places in my opinion. Perfectly white and flaky. Well plated. I didn't find any lobster in the risotto, if you want real lobster risotto, Josie's in Ellsworth is the place to go. There you get 2 or 3 ounces of real lobster meat blended with the risotto. It can be a meal in itself at Josie's

We loved this place! Steaks were excellent, service attentive, and the restaurant was beautiful with wide plank wood floors and rugs under each table, very cozy. My husband has celiac and they have a gluten free fryer, which was exciting! Would definitely return.

We were looking for place for a quick bite with good food after a long day of hiking in the park and Island Take Out hit the spot! All of the food was fresh and delicious! Also I have a gluten allergy and there are gf options and accommodations there. I had a jerk chicken sandwich (on a gf bun) and it was incredible! I am a medium spicy person and this hit the threshold with maintaining great flavor. My guest has the jerk macaroni and cheese and they though it was delicious! Looked like just the right amount of creamy and good flavor. For any one looking for good food, I highly recommend!

A quaint, delicious "Kitchen-Nook" tucked away in the back of what looks like an alley! Heed the sign (on the side of the building) of the "Hand Pointing A Finger Down The "Alley"" and it has "Cafe This Way" on the Hand. A lovely place to eat! Service was fast & pleasant, food very good, worth a return trip. Gluten-free options are available!
