It was OK. I have to eat gluten free and although I am appreciative of the gluten free options, the pizza dough was very doughy and almost undercooked and thick. The gluten free fingers were ok, but had to use lots of dipping as u could taste the dough they use. Nice place and I'm not sure about the non gluten free options.

One of my favorite restaurants in Buffalo. They can pretty much make anything gluten-free. Although everything is great, the lobster mac & cheese is not always consistent. Lately the cheese & cream has been Overkill. It used to have a perfect ratio of pasta, cheese and lobster.. The last time I dined there I got two tiny pieces of lobster.. they should have a certain amount that they put into each dish automatically I guess. The french fries are perfectly crispy and delicious along with the mussels, stuffed mushrooms and just about everything else I tried. More importantly, the atmosphere is a long time favorite and so nostalgic as I grew up in the city and have known this place my whole life. The tall bartender with the buzz cut and black glasses makes some of the best cocktails in WNY and not to mention is one of the nicest bartenders, always friendly and accommodating. I always make it a point to sit on that side of the bar lol
Dive into Buffalo's wing scene with standout flavors and impressive service that keeps locals coming back for more!

Excellent Buffalo wings that are celiac friendly! Professional and friendly service as well. We will be stopping here regularly whenever flying out Buffalo.
I had heard The Steer was more than the bar from my college days, and was pleasantly met with a very nice dining experience experience. I will be back.
The service was good and sat us next to the gas fireplace. Many if their sauces and things are made in-house, so they’re able to check on allergens. I really appreciated the clear labels for vegetarian, dairy-free and gluten-free, and that there were several vegan dishes to choose from!
Omnivores need not worry, most of the menu is full of deliciously-smelling beef and chicken. There are also happy hour appetizer specials! I’ll be back.
I would prefer the dining room to turn off the TV - it’s very distracting and when I go out I want to focus on the people I’m with, without electronic lights flashing at me.
Charming diner with a spacious, nostalgic vibe, perfect for brunch; arrive early to snag the best table and enjoy the laid-back atmosphere.

Food is fine, not stellar but definitely but not bad. Average hipster-level diner food, which is fine in my book. Very VERY few gluten-free options. The best part is the venue itself. A cute little old diner car with really cool wallpaper and authentic booths, etc. The worst part- the server dudebro who is bordering on disrespectful- just strangely blunt. This was the 3rd time we went and his weirdness has been consistent. I don’t like complaining about service usually, I know people need work and being in the service industry isn’t making wait staff wealthy, but it’s like this dude has no self awareness. It detracts from the experience.
Experience top-notch service and a welcoming atmosphere, with accommodating staff eager to share tips for your visit and delicious dishes to enjoy.

I was delighted by the number of gluten-free options, as eating out is usually very challenging with my allergies. Our server was super attentive and everything tasted fantastic. Will definitely be back!

The Salty Chef's restaurant is a great family friendly feel place to eat! There's a section of the restaurant that is set up like a dining room table area. It makes you feel right at home! My husband LOVED his bacon blue burger. I have celiac disease and this facility is not a dedicated gluten-free, HOWEVER, the husband & wife owners were very knowledgeable of how to accommodate my gluten-free dietary needs. I ordered a cup of Vegan Carrot Ginger soup & Salty Chefs Salmon Cobb Salad. Both were SO delicious! I can't leave out the amazing warm gluten-free brownie topped with homemade fresh fruit compote that I took to go! This is a MUST try place! You will not be disappointed! Thank you Salty Chefs for giving me a worry free gluten-free meal & dessert!
Expect a cozy vibe with accommodating options for specific dietary needs, making it a breezy experience for anyone with preferences.

They are good here. I have to eat gluten free which is hard in places like this. They don't have gf bread or pancakes like IHOP. They had turkey bacon which I appreciate being allergic to pork and the Waitress was super sweet and knew gf and said the hashbrowns were ok and the bacon was listed Gf. They gave me fruit instead of bread. It worked.
Food was great, recommended by friends and did not disappoint. Waited a little bit but waitress was super apologetic and explained a mix up. Great variety of gluten free options.
Expect an upscale vibe with a great atmosphere, but be ready to splurge for a memorable dining experience.

The menu is marked with gluten free options. The staff are knowledgeable about gluten free options and are are helpful to answer any questions. The restaurant has an upscale vibe with a really nice atmosphere! However, be prepared to pay big bucks as the dishes are pricy.
I really enjoy the nachos and onion rings whenever I visit. The soups are also delicious. We usually opt for drinks and small plates. The only downside for me is the limited selection of hard ciders. They currently only have one option, and since I can't have gluten, it's a bit disappointing. The cider they offer is quite sweet, but I personally prefer a drier taste. Nonetheless, it's still a nice option for a quick drink.
Exceptional service and a welcoming atmosphere make for a standout dining experience, especially after a long day of travel.

Had a late dinner when we arrived and had the pleasure of having Nicole. She was educated on gluten free items, was very friendly and so much fun. We had a fabulous dinner and conversation!
We had a private party here and it was absolutely wonderful! All the food was gluten free and so delicious! The staff were great. The look and vibe of the venue was beautiful and elegant!
Nice place for couples. Quaint and relaxing. I wish there were more gluten free options, but the service is great and they tried their best to accommodate my allergy. They have a great wine list. Menu prices are reasonable.
Great atmosphere and quick seating make this spot perfect for gatherings, with attentive service that caters to all ages and preferences.

We had a party of 6, we were seated promptly, and the atmosphere was amazing! Our server Alexis was very engaged, great knowledge of the menu, and even helped me find something gluten free off the menu. She was great with my grandchildren, and very accommodating to us! Thank you for the great service and experience Alexis!

My first time at Dog and Pony and it won’t be my last! Great location near Shea’s Seneca, great to see what is happening in this area. I was able to meet a friend for dinner and I tried the Korean Brussels sprouts and the winter squash salad. Both were delicious, had hearty portions and left me full even though it was a veggie heavy meal. Sprouts were crispy, not too spicy and perfectly cooked. The salad had plenty of toppings and was a great mix of fall themed items. Service was awesome and she had some great pointers on the food and cocktail menu.
A great outdoor covered patio and plenty of gluten free menu options make this place a slam dunk.
