Katie P was fantastic! She was kind and attentive for our whole meal. I have gluten and dairy allergies and she had the manager prepare everything to make sure it was safe!

Such a nice view in the evening over looking the city. Such GOOD service from ALL of the staff from the hostess to the person who brought us our food, the bartender and our waitress. I've never gotten an appetizer as quick as we got our chicken quesadillas tonight. Everything was delicious and I have no complaints (which is very unusual for me) my friend got the mahi mahi tacos and said they were the best he's ever had in his life. I got the chicken sandwich and brussel sprouts and they were perfect. We also got the giant chocolate cake for dessert which we only knew about because we saw another waitress taking a piece to someone else, and we asked her about it because they don't have the deserts on the menu. It was heavenly, and it was HUGE. We both ate it and still had some left over. Ok i thought of a complaint. The selection of things to choose from is not great, and my daughter was going to come to eat with us, but she has a gluten allergy, and the only gluten free option i saw on the menu was pizza, and we didn't want pizza, so she didn't come. However, I'm sure you can find something delicious anyway.
A stylish spot perfect for special occasions, offering a lively atmosphere and a standout experience that keeps diners coming back.

Perfect 5-STAR experience at the Kenwood Cooper's Hawk location yesterday, celebrating Valentine's Day at lunchtime. REILLY provided exceptional and highly attentive service, especially with regard to our gluten and dairy restrictions. She was very courteous and professional. We have visited several Cooper Hawk's across Dayton/Cincinnati area (Kenwood, Liberty Centre, Centerville) and the KENWOOD location is clearly superb in all aspects.
A bustling spot in Cincinnati with a huge menu and great draft beers, perfect for gatherings but watch out for their mocktail ID policy.

I went for a work lunch and asked for the gluten free menu since their regular menu has nothing but a reference to ask for it for gluten free. I am currently in the testing gluten free phase and I ordered their tacos. I was asked if I wanted the combo, which I thought include rice and beans so I said yes. The gluten free menu had zero prices. The tacos were $6.60 each! They were extremely tiny street tacos and should have been $2 a piece. The tacos were ok, not good, not bad. I was also charged a gluten sensitive combo fee of $3.29 I wasn't aware of. My total for 2 tiny tacos and a side of plain, unseasoned, no sauce, white rice, was $17.95. That is highway robbery and insulting. $18 for two tiny tacos is crazy! Service and manager were great but I will never go back and suggest you don't either. All in that ends up being $9 for a street taco, a tiny, 4 inch street taco. That's crazy.
A spot with an incredible variety of options and generous portions, perfect for those seeking delicious bites in a vibrant atmosphere.

I am a big fan of this group. They cater to those with celiac disease, like my sister-in-law, and that’s extremely important to me. Their food is also top-notch. Emery is one of my favorite restaurants.
But they seem to miss the mark on choosing seating that is size-inclusive and I’m tired of it. Toast & Berry seating is great. Emery seating could use more inclusivity, but it’s still ok. Alara, however, is the worst. The majority of their chairs are extremely uncomfortable for those who are overweight. Even one of the photos on Google shows how uncomfortable it is when a larger gray-haired woman sits stuffed into a dining chair.
It’s hard to enjoy the food when you’re in literal pain from being squeezed into a chair, or emotional pain from having to ask for a different chair or different table. So what happens? People just don’t go.
DO. BETTER.
A spot known for its accommodating service, even during peak hours, but could use more diverse menu options.

I ended up coming here for Thanksgiving at the last minute with my family, and even though we came close to closing time, the staff was incredibly accommodating and did not make us feel rushed. The service was exceptional, and staff members were kind and friendly. I would have loved to have more vegan and gluten free options, but overall it was a good experience.
We love this spot in town and the people who work there are always so kind and welcoming! Great atmosphere and a wonderful spot for vegan/ gluten free food.
This spot has a unique charm with standout cocktails and impressive appetizers, though the atmosphere could use a refresh and the drinks menu needs expansion.

Upscale street tacos is what you might call these? They are on the smaller size, they they taste amazing.
The queso may be the best I've ever had. And the margaritas are legit. Lots of gluten free options if you need that.

Service gets dinged because of how ticked off I was with the reservation part. I called at 12:30 on a Wednesday to make a reservation (neither my husband nor I have access to OpenTable) and was told they were “extremely busy” so call back in a half hour, I called periodically after 1:00 without an answer, I asked my husband to call, they answered and he made the reservation in less than a minute. I believed I was denied service then ignored because of my fatal blunder of calling during a lunch hour…😒 👎
Anyway, despite sour expectations, the food and portion sizes were excellent! We got 5 menu items (all gluten free except anjou and no croutons on the salad): The stuffed mushrooms were creamy and flavorful! The Meritage salad was a great combo without too much or little of anything. The prime rib 20oz was gigantic and came with anjou. The scallops were even better than the prime rib, perfectly cooked with a tasty sauce. To top off our enjoyment, the crème brûlée was light to eat and the vanilla flavor very pleasing.
Our server gets 5 stars for sure. I always drink a lot of water when out to eat and I appreciate her filling my water 5 times in the 2 hours we were there without me having to ask or anything!
The place is a renovated old home style building but it is really big, they have a lot of space. The live music was a guy with an acoustic guitar and a wide variety of songs he could play and sing. It made a nice vibe.
It was a great time out for us!
A first-time visit delight with easy-to-navigate options, a pleasant server, and a team that exemplifies teamwork.

I am celiac, and it is a roll of the dice on the food. I have eaten there several times and have had a received something with gluten on about half of the visits even though I ordered specifically what is labeled gf and telling the server it is for an allergy.
We love Metropole. The wait staff is incredible. They know the menu forward and backwards. They were able to handle my allergy (gluten) without fuss. I never once felt unsafe. It's the kin of place I know I can try new things and still be safe and as anyone with a serious allergy can tell you, having that much faith in your Wait staff is almost unheard of. The drinks rock. Persephone's return is excellent on the summer drinks menu.
I really like the ribs but there is something in them that gets me that evening and the next day. Not like white castle slider bad but according to those around me.... fairly close. Only problem is they are so darn good. They do have a fantastic gluten free menu. If you have celiac, gluten allergies, or just a general aversion to those items. Just ask for the menu
Service was excellent. The food was also very very good. However, there were very few options for those people who are gluten-sensitive, i e, celiacs. The restaurant however did work to provide what they could for the celiac. They were also very honest about the ingredients used in their food. This critical for celiacs, who cannot tolerate even a small amount of gluten in their food.
Places an order for 8 people on a Friday for pickup on Monday. Everything was ready on time. All the food was there and it was delicious! Great option when you have someone gluten free in the group and it had a vegetarian option for me!
Got the Naked Tenders being gluten-free Cooked to order. Cooked to perfection. Not overdone. House honey mustard is the bomb. Coleslaw is just right along with fries and toast.

I mostly come to Lou Vino for brunch. It’s amazing every time. There’s usually some gluten free options but nothing yummy like waffles or French toast gluten free. Just like omelette and steak and eggs. Either way the mimosas are affordable for brunch and the service is usually pretty friendly.
The service was quick once seated. My family enjoyed the food. I am gluten free and didn’t see any items notated on the menu. You are given a complimentary mini duck to keep. Kid friendly.
Perfect for group hangouts, this spot offers a unique chili with special spices and a generous cheese topping that keeps everyone happy.

This is a great place to be with a group. Service was fast, and the staff were friendly and kind with the kids. The Chili is so good! They put so much cheese on top of it too. If you are gluten-free, you can ask the bowl of Chili without the pasta. The cheese fries were ok. I don't think we will order it next time.
Be prepared to try a new recipe of Chile, tough. It has different spices that make it special.

The overlook cafe now uses culinary student to do the work of the former employees. Service has changed for the better, friendly ,and great service.
Bottom line it's a night and day difference since the culinary students are making the food now.
Made to order flatbread pizzas ( see photo ) , and gluten free dough as well.
Usually very trust worthy with their Gluten free options especially burgers , but not this time ! Had the quesadilla for app and salmon salad for entree ! Got sick for hours after wards ! When people need GF for a medical condition, they need to do better than that or change your menu ! Otherwise food was good , service just ok.
We were in town for our daughter's wedding. Saturday morning we were looking for a place for breakfast, didn't want a fussy atmosphere. The Echo sounded great from the reviews and description. I called and asked if they were open and could seat 6. "Yes! Come on in!" Our group grew to 9, I called back, they said they'd set it up for us. I asked about parking and was given various options. We arrived, were seated immediately. It's a really friendly place with a big, wrap-around, old-fashioned breakfast bar, booths and tables, plus a big room in the back. Our waitress was there to take our drink orders right away. Coffee was fresh, hot and good. Our food order was taken after we had time to peruse the menu which had lots of breakfast choices - even gluten free bread! Our food came quickly, everything hot and beautifully presented. Our coffee was kept refilled. It was a WONderful experience. Our waitress was top-notch, the manager came and checked on us. DO come here for breakfast! Thank you, "The Echo", for a splendid morning send off.
The food was amazing.
I wandered in after a long day of travel. The hostess was a bit rude and tried to get me to eat at the bar which serves burgers. I explained I wasn't looking for that kind of food. She then said well you know this is a 5 star restaurant and pointed to the menu. I said sounds great I would appreciate some decent food after a week of terrible travel and food. She reluctantly offered me reservation in 30 mins. I've never been treated so poorly by a hostess otherwise would given an additional star.
I did the 3 course meal and the servings we're just right.
Amazing food and the server was awesome in helping me navigate my gluten intolerance.
Ok so this is on the Cincinnati chili trail and has been marked as a lot of people's favorite so I had to try it. We got in quickly, it's seat yourself so be prepared to hangout waiting for a table to be bussed after a group gets up (which is really quick). The bar is also a good choice (it reminds me of the old school soda bars or diner bars, stools and all). We sat down right after the table was bussed and a large group of people sat at the bar but the wait staff didn't slow down a beat. Are drinks were out shortly after that. After chatting with our server we found out that she is the granddaughter of the founder of blue Jay restaurant and is helping run it now. I am gluten free so chili places can be challenging for me (Cincinnati Chili especially) but she made me feel right at home and got our orders made quickly and it was very very good. It's hard to rate places without having them next to each other but as far as Cincinnati Chili goes this is easily in the top 3 I've had so far.
A lively spot with quick service, delicious meals, and attentive staff makes for a great dining experience on busy nights.

I called ahead to see if there was a wait and was put on the waiting list as I was driving there. I had to wait about 5 minutes after arriving and checking in, which was not a long time. The food was amazing. I had Flo's Filet and some sides with raspberry iced tea. My date has Celiac Disease, and cannot eat anything containing or that comes in contact with gluten. Gluten is in wheat, barley and rye. We told the server that my date has Celiac and she knew what it is and what to do. My date had the parmesan crusted chicken without bread crumbs and White Cheddar Stuffed Mushrooms without bread crumbs, mashed potatoes, and a baked potato. They have many gluten free options and we eat here often. My date never gets sick from cross contamination of gluten! The server was 100% on it. This was a very busy Saturday evening. She refilled our drinks without us having to ask, got us a couple boxes when she noticed us slowing down on eating, was super friendly and attentive. The staff at the front door were lovely and polite. Overall, this was a very good dining experience. I highly recommend Long Horn Steak House in Eastgate OH.
