It’s Good Kitchen was the best restaurant my partner and I ate at during our month stay around Thailand. All the dishes we had were delicious and they had lots of options for very cheap prices. I have celiac disease and they catered to that perfectly. I did not once have any issues with the food. The staff are absolutely lovely people, perfect service. I highly recommend coming here if you are in Chiang Mai. I can see why it is so popular!

Great dinner experience - most of the pad thais are gluten free and labelled as such on the menu (something you don’t see a lot around Bangkok but which put me at ease as a coeliac). Delicious meal!
Known for exceptional service, this spot offers a great value with dishes tailored to specific dietary needs and certified sauces on hand.

Had the most amazing traditional dinner here when I told them I was gluten free they immediately brought me my own sauces to the table which were labelled GF. They brought out my food without sauce so I could add my own gluten free ones and it was insanely delicious.
A hidden gem in Chiang Mai, known for its fresh dishes, vibrant atmosphere, and a menu that offers unique twists on traditional flavors.

I’ve visited this restaurant more than a dozen times and have also ordered delivery through Grab just as often. My experience has been consistent enough that I feel comfortable sharing a fair and honest review — especially since some of the negative comments I’ve seen seem more rooted in cultural bias or personal rather than actual dining experiences.
Pros:
I’ve only ordered hummus and falafel here. While I’m not a certified expert of these dishes , I’ve eaten both dishes hundreds of times in various countries because I genuinely love them. In every place I’ve tried them, the recipes were different — as they should be. Each chef adds their own touch, and this restaurant is no exception. Just because it doesn’t taste like what your grandmother made doesn’t mean it’s not hummus or falafel — it’s just a different version.
The portion sizes are fair and satisfying — not too much, not too little.
I really appreciate that they bake their own bread in-house. It adds a handmade, personal feel to the meal. I do wish they offered more variations in bread quality, including perhaps a gluten-free option.
Each time I’ve visited — at different times of the day — I’ve been greeted quickly, handed a menu without delay, and received my food fast. The service flow is solid.
The restaurant doesn’t advertise itself as belonging to any specific country’s cuisine. Some negative reviews seem overly nationalistic or territorial. In today’s global food scene (it’s 2025, after all), fusion and reinterpretation are part of the culinary world. If someone’s bringing your home-country dish to a different part of the world, that should be seen as a compliment — not a threat. Or better yet, open your own spot instead of nitpicking someone else’s.
Cons:
On several occasions, special requests were either misunderstood or ignored. This may be due to language differences, but it’s worth noting if you have specific needs.
The restroom and the path to the restroom could use more frequent cleaning or a bit of an upgrade to feel more hygienic and welcoming.
On a recent visit, a new admin or manager was a little over-insistent in pointing out menu items. It felt unnecessary. I can read and choose what I want without pressure.
Despite a few small drawbacks, I enjoy coming here from time to time for some good hummus and falafel in the middle of Chiang Mai. The food is tasty, the portions are fair, and it’s always nice to have a familiar comfort food option in a foreign place.
Cheers!

Great area for this gem! Owner extremely friendly, explains the preparation and even brings the sauces to the table. There is GLUTEN FREE soy sauce, fish sauce and oyster sauce. As a celibate you can get all the Thai dishes your heart desires here! ❤️ Pad Thai gluten-free was delicious, as was my husband's regular Chicken with Cashew Nut. We'll be back!
Just loved it ❤️
The food was very good, owner understand food (gluten) restrictions. A place where you can try traditionel north thailand food and feel secure.
With a bluesy vibe and great music, enjoy flavorful dishes in a lively atmosphere that caters to various preferences.

We had never been to a Korean barbecue restaurant, so this was our first experience. This is the best place to go! The owner met us at the door, and kindly answered all our questions about the menu. We ordered the buffet. It came with so many sides! All the flavors were intense and delicious. I have many food intolerances and the manager patiently explained that almost everything is made fresh and on site. No gluten, added sugar, or MSG in the buffet. The waitresses were very attentive, refilling all our dishes as soon as they needed to be. The manager and waitresses speak English and are very friendly and helpful. A very special evening. We will go there again.
This is the good taste one, many menus, kind of noodles also rice for every one.

Ate here last night and let them know about my dietary restrictions in advance. They had well noted it and already were ready for me when I arrived. The menu is marked for gluten making it easier and they were able to make me the pasta dishes gluten free. I also had the guacamole which wasn’t marked gluten free they just swapped the dippers to be gluten free bread and cucumber sticks. Everything was delicious.
High-quality flavors and impressive standards set this spot apart, with stellar options for those with dietary preferences.
