Last minute decision on a late lunch/dinner after visiting Skyline Drive and so happy we did!!! Delicious food and specialty drinks wer on point! My half duck gluten free curry dinner was AMAZING! Hubby had a spicy chicken and veggie curry and also delicious (too hot for me but he loves spice!!!!). A Cosmo and Mohito later, and I wish this restaurant was near us in NJ. Thanks for the quick and delicious meal! A++ pleasnt VT vacation!

I was there 20 years ago and I remembered the mock eel. It was still amazing, even better than before. I don't know how they get mushrooms to taste that good. We also got shrimp lo mein and double garlic broccoli with cashews and for extra protein they added tofu for me. Everything was outstanding. Seriously, one of the best meals I've ever had (and I'm a tough critic). Our server (Cal?) was knowledgeable and personable and attentive. They were able to accommodate my gluten and dairy free restrictions without any fuss at all. We live in NY, but if we're back in Burlington, we will come back without question.

This place is a treasure. Family owned and run, fantastic food at fair prices. The soup broths are all first rate. They are very gluten free friendly. My son has celiac and has enjoyed the food here several times.

I had the gluten free chicken pad Thai and it was delicious. My daughter had GF sushi. Both meals were gluten free and so good. The waiter and receptionist knew about gluten allergy and they were able to advice us on what we can and can’t eat. The rest of my family’s and friends had hibachi and I heard it was also very good. The servings are really big. We also had strawberry mochis for desert, also gluten free. Service was very good.

Overall great experience! We were seated quickly on a Saturday night, fast and friendly service and all our food was absolutely delicious! There was even lots of gluten free options and a sign that said no msg used in any of their dishes. Would highly recommend!

Excellent food and great service. As someone with celiac (gluten free), our server was great about what I could have (I didn't get the full run down of gf options but the chicken soup was great) and even warned me not to use the hoisin sauce on the table. Looking forward to returning in the future. Thank you!

Went here with my children, their pineapple rice is good but I found that the food wasn't that wonderful and they don't like to substitute anything, even for my gluten free daughter, also they were very pricey.

This place is always great! Even when they are super busy, we have a great experience. I no longer eat gluten and dairy, and this place is always able to work with me!! Oh and get the Hot Honey Chicken sandwich!!

NOT GLUTEN SAFE I ordered a gluten free entree and the server brought out a soup. I asked if the soup was confirmed gluten free and the server said yes but it was not. I didn't feel safe eating anything else.

The food is great, you over look the bad phone service. However, the online menu needs to be updated to the current menu and they need a gluten free section. but its still great.

Really like this restuarant. I am gluten free so, I can not have soy sauce, and they are very accommodating. They will use gluten free tamari sauce. Just let your server know you need gluten free if you are. I enjoy the Pad Thai and the Pineapple Fried Rice. Like to get the Edamame as an appetizer. And of course the Hibachi grill is always fun.

If you live in the Montpelier/Barre area, or are passing though, make sure you visit Si Aku Ramen. We just went for the first time last weekend and had to come back today. The menu is simple, but varied, with something for everyone- vegetarians and carnivores (and with different noodle variations, seemingly for gluten free folks, too). The broth is rich in flavor, and clearly handmade, and the soup is put together with such care- just delicious. Don't miss out out on this place!

We ordered the stir fry chicken with fried rice. This comes with a small house salad and broth from Pho, either vegetable, chicken or pork. Next time I want to try the stir fry with noodles. We also ordered the super duper sushi rolls. The wait was longer than expected because I needed everything gluten free and they actually took the time to have that dedicated cooking. They forgot the sushi, and we had to go back for it. They made it right and even offered to deliver it. Despite this minor detail, I highly recommend Volcano VT! Thank you to the wife, and part owner, for verifying my pronunciation of wishing them a prosperous and healthy Chinese New Year in Mandarin.

Always delicious authentic Thai food. Such a popular place that the wait for food can be long even with a reservation - BUT it’s always worth it! Very gluten-free and dairy-free friendly and accommodating. I have Celiac and have always eaten there safely. Excellent seafood. Lots of menu choices! My family LOVES this place.

Absolutely love this spot. Lunch specials are huge and so tasty!!! Curries and noodles are all fantastic. Love all of the dishes with lemongrass. Super accommodating of allergies, gluten free (I have celiac) and other kinds as well. Service was so attentive and warm. Definitely worth the trip!!!!
