Cried from how good the food is, finally some authentic Mexican food after traveling through Australia. The owner is so kind and interacts with all of the guests, the menu is delicious, atmosphere is wonderful. All gluten free. I wish I lived in Brisbane so I could frequent this place.

Dear Prospective Diner. TLDR; Fantastic Food, Wine & Service. Numerous GF and GFMO (Gluten free related). Yummy Desserts. My friend and I are very grateful for our experience at La Lanterna last Saturday night (5Oct24). Please pardon the following narrative -Typically, I don’t write such narratives but I feel that our experience is worth it. We arrived at a full, bustling restaurant with a waitlist of diners (In Redcliffe?! Wow) -Fool us for not reserving a table. Soon after, an absolutely charming older gentleman (maybe the owner) offered to set up a special table out the front so we didn’t have to wait -That suited us and our conversation so we accepted. The service was fantastic from the lovely young man and woman even though we were the only ones out the front –for me, out of sight is out of mind. We were rewarded for asking for a wine recommendation as we got the most beautiful wine. Here I commit a faux pas –I don’t know the name. It was on the pink “extra special wine” list :-D. [Edit: Wine = Lagrein. Please correct me if I am wrong]. My friend was pleased with the numerous & tasty gluten free/modified options even though it was an Italian restaurant. Tip: If you, ahem, book a table, it is possible to get extra GF options. The mains and desserts that we shared were wonderful. They were so full of flavour. If I had to choose which one I could only eat then I would have trouble doing so. That said, the Spezzatino ai Porcini was particularly moorish 😃. For those interested, we ordered the GFO variants of: Tagliatelle al Ragù - [GF} Traditional beef and pork ragù tomato based. -Good GF Pasta. Spezzatino ai Porcini -[GF] Beef hotpot with porcini mushrooms and fresh focaccia. (Ohh la la, the hot pot) Desserts: Pannacotta alla Fragola -Strawberry pannacotta topped with chocolate ganache. [GF] "Joe's Brownie" -Hand made brownies with vanilla sauce and white chocolate mousse. [GF] I am very much looking forward to going back again soon. I am surprised I haven’t been back already! 😃

Great atmosphere and plenty of Gluten free options. Most pasta and most meals can be made gluten free. And not just penne. The gnocchi was lovely.

Plenty of Gluten free options. The most amazing breakfast crepe and Han cheese Toastie (both Gluten Free). Portion sizes are very generous, service was great, meals came out very quick and the food tastes absolutely incredible. I will 100% be back and will recommend Oasis in the esplanade to anyone and everyone.

Fantastic food. Great understanding of Gluten free and while no dedicated pizza area they did the best they could making our food ahead of the others so minimal cross contamination occurred. All other gf options come from a dedicated area of the kitchen. Beef burger was fantastic as well, Could improve on their amaretto sours but the fresh juice was amazing!

Best cold brew in Brisbane plus amazing service from the bloke who owns it - he is a legend. Come and visit for coffee and eats, you won’t be disappointed! P.S. there are heaps of scrumptious options for all the gluten free babes out there!

Their gluten free pizza base is a bit underwhelming, but the antipasto and customer service is fantastic. The owner is also very friendly. It feels authentic and makes me feel like I'm back in Italy. I've returned a few times and intend to return again in future.

Today went to a Christmas function at the Komo hotel, Redcliffe, I am gluten free and meal served was a vegan meal with no veg or protein of any kind. The meal looked like gnocchi, but told it was gluten free. It had not been cooked properly and was the consistency of dough! It was inedible! Three people at my table were served this for differing diets! When we complained we were told all they could offer us was a bowl of chips! Nothing else ! We also found that they had watered down the milk for using in help yourself coffee or tea, so that it looked pale grey! Not the sort of standard one would expect from this hotel! A bowl of chips does not constitute a meal at a function!

After the first delicious takeaway, we had to come back the next night for another tasty dish. Staff are friendly and helpful, particularly when discussing gluten-free options. This is our go-to restaurant for Thai cuisine in Redcliffe.

Had a wonderful Father’s Day here! The staff were so welcoming and were so kind to put a little sign up for my dad. Food was brilliant and live music was awesome! Had vegetarian/gluten free options as well so you can bring the whole family! Very happy and full boys 🫶 Special thanks to the kind middle aged lady, you are fantastic and I wish I grabbed your name! Thanks for the nice service! 10/10 service, food and atmosphere

Sat outside. Food was great, staff friendly and attentive, $12 happy hour cocktails were a bonus and the atmosphere was nice with live music. Kids enjoyed it too and they were able to cater for gluten free.

Placed an order for 3 take-out pizza and not only where 2 of the pizzas different to what we ordered but the gluten free base was without a doubt the most disgusting ever! Absolutely wouldn't recommend this place to anyone

Popped in to grab a quick takeaway while on holiday in the area. Owner was very kind making sure that the meal was accomodating to my gluten free diet. Reasonably priced and the food was awesome as well! Will definitely be back on our next trip.

Got lucky because we didn't need to wait on our shool night out when I dined with friend & family all up included 2 x children who loved the sushi train especially any thing with avocado in it. My friend ordered 2 x chicken dishes teriyaki and chicken curry which was shared and swapped with her partner. I ordered GF and was seriously considered by the chef in my choices 1x plate of Salmon Aburi=2 and 1 x plate of Beef Aburi both delicious choices & GF mayo was offered and taken, however only 1 x very small serve of gf soya sauce could be found by staff on this evening. I sampled a gluten free Karage chicken bowl surprisingly tasted really good! The Good chef on the night accommodated my GF needs,now would I visit again yes highly recommend GF alerts to chef as options are made available and catered for to those who ask.

Delicious pizzas. They mistakenly didn’t label the gluten free pizza but were so good at fixing the problem by delivering us a fresh pizza even though they don’t usually deliver. Well priced and great pizzas!!
