It’s become legendary for me — I tell all my friends across North America that yes, it is possible to be gluten-free and still enjoy great taste. Very disappointed after putting in an order for a gluten free pizza as well as another pizza being advised that the GF option had “run out” I thought this was A little strange & when I went to pock uo my pizza I asked the girl, “is it usual to RUN OUT of GF??? After she checked with the kitchen , I was then advised that GF was available!!!! Well after being advised of this, I was disappointed & asked if they would give a discount for the inconvenience ? Upon returning from the kitchen I was advised that they would give a discount of $1.50. What a joke!!!!! Poor customer service!!!! Won’t be returning as it is not hard to find a good pizza with good customer service I am Sure. Very Disappointing !!!!

I ordered a gluten free chocolate/Nutella cake from ladybird cakes for my 30th and it was delicious. Flavours well balanced and not too sweet, with beautiful decorations of macaroons and buttercream icing. Went down a treat with all my guests who commented about it and loved it. Easy to order and pay through the website and then pick up at the local cafe. Would highly recommend.

Got a Classic wrap with the gluten free wrap, which is pretty rare to find! It was tasty and filling, next time I’ll ask for the chips inside as well. They have quite a lovely garden in the back if you wish to dine in. The only downside I found was that for takeaway, we had to wait about 30 minutes for our order, which is longer than I’d expect.

The breakfast at Mapleton was outstanding particularly the smashed avocado and the herb roasted mushrooms. The coffee was so good we had two. The menu is gluten-free and vegetarian friendly and we were able to sit out the back with our dog. Really top class.

This place has the kindest and most attentive staff! I came on a really busy Sunday but the owner Naas still took the time to come over and chat with me. The coffee and food was amazing (especially the gluten free bread, which can often be hard to find).

Very busy on weekends but service is very fast and friendly. Large establishment so can be noisy, get in early if you want to avoid the crowds. Had that prawn linguine- pasta cooked to perfection, stronger seafood taste. Can get gluten free bread options there. Standard Melbourne prices. Large outdoor seating area as well as smaller indoor area. Very attentive staff.

Offers numerous gluten free options, I had the lamb brains for a starter and pork for the main. Both were really tasty, a good portion and reasonably priced. My wife had a main size portion of the hock soup and thoroughly enjoyed it. We are looking forward to returning and trying out some of the other dishes.

OMG Donuts have an amazing product that is just like the donuts that I used to get - hot, fresh, dusted in the perfect cinnamon sugar blend. They also have a range of other flavours, that are also great. While, I have had donuts from several of their franchisees, OMG Donuts Port Phillip are by far the best. They have amazing service, make the donuts super light and fluffy and remind me perfectly of when I was able to eat gluten. If I did not know that they were gluten, wheat, egg, nut and dairy free, I would have though they had come from a traditional donut shop!

Come to the Antique Bar. Just do it. This is a sensational place for Friday night drinks - heck any night drinks. Always a great vibe. In winter, warm & cosy with those comfy chairs screaming for you to snuggle down with a partner or settle in for a session with friends. In summer fresh cool beer, wine & cocktails are just perfect on a warm night. Pizza is a great bonus - even the gluten free pizza is surprisingly delicious. Come on down. It's great.

Last night I went out for dinner with two girlfriends to Via Campalina in Glenhuntly Road Elsternwick . The staff were attentive and very patient as we had some catch up talking to do before we ordered. The food was generous and delicious, my two friends ordered gluten free pasta dishes with slight changes to the dish and nothing was too much for the kitchen, changes to the dish was met with no problems rather than a hissy fit. All the dishes were delicious and beautifully presented. We shared a sticky date pudding with ice-cream on the side. Every request was met with a smile. As there were three of us we talked and talked, we noticed we were the last people in the restaurant, the staff left and the owner stayed back. It was after ten but unlike other places that virtually push you out the door when the kitchen is closed, we felt welcomed and stayed a while longer. We would all highly recommend Via Campalina for their delicious food, outstanding customer service. A good night out was had by all.
