Typical of back alley bars in Footscray. Parma night is great value at $10 for a good size chicken parma (lots of varieties of parma to choose from, including a low gluten option). Quite busy and booking ahead is definitely a must. They seem to roll out the parmas quite quickly despite the large numbers.

I ordered delivery and the burgers were great, gluten free bun was also great. It took a while to come and by the time I received the order it was cold, they forgot the dips for the chips and gave us a wrong drink. Overall good but could do better.

Such a great little spot! The staff are really lovely and attentive, and the food is excellent especially for the price point. It’s often tough to find good gluten free varieties & at a good price, but they nailed it! We’ve loved the steak nights, and the curry is a hidden gem on the menu 💎 Highly recommend this spot!! 10/10😍

It presented as your average takeaway pizza joint but we were actually rather impressed by the quality and variety on offer. There’s a wide range of vegan, gluten free and gourmet pizzas available and the cute wall art attests to it being healthier too. I found all three pizzas we had to be quite light and oil free lacking the greasiness you can often get with pizza. We had the bbq chicken, the boconccini and the haloumi lamb. My favourite was that classic bbq chicken which was juicy and topped with yummy pineapples and the perfect amount of bbq sauce. The other two were from the gourmet menu and very enjoyable also. We finished with some strawberry and chocolate mousse which was impossibly light and fluffy and reminded me of Neapolitan ice cream. Definitely exceeded our expectations

Discovered this gem tucked away amongst the surrounding trees. Staff were welcoming and helpful. My hot chocolate was delicious. The snacks were tasty and it was good to see gluten-free options on the menu. Relaxing atmosphere sitting outside in the shade.

Ordered the little tray as takeaway. Needed gluten free option. Server was awesome, friendly and helpful. We replaced the mac and cheese with seasoned rice and the milk bun with gf tortillas. I was a little concerned with the cost of $40. Pick up and returned to my accommodation without looking at it. The box could have easily fed 2 to 3 people, but my fat a took one taste and devoured the lot. Would 💯% get again. (No photo ate it before I thought to take one)

My favourite Vietnamese resto on this street. Staff are lovely and happily made my partner's dish gluten free. Love that they still provide the thermos with hot tea when giving out the menus, and they check everyone's vaccination status. The prices are very reasonable.

Overpriced and too slow for service. $14 ....for a slice of gluten free carrot cake. Put YOUR PRICES ON YOUR DISPLAY FOOD. Am a healthcare worker and that is such bad bad form. The cake was super dry and nothing special. The staff were like "isn't it amazing".... 🙄. ....for that price . I only found out the price when i went to pay 18 ....for coffee and cake. What an absolute rip off.

Great value, fast service. Serving sizes are big. Service was incredibly quick and menu has plenty of options including vegetarian, vegan and gluten free sections to ensure anyone can eat here. We got the Crispy Noodles in Gravy sauce, and the Mixed Curry Laksa. The Laksa was well spiced and had plenty of filling in it. The serving of chicken in the crispy noodles dish however was a little disappointing as there was not much there at all. Still a great lunch spot, recommend for well priced, good serving sizes with plenty of variety. The drinks were tasty too. Definitely a top spot in Footscray.

Great little cafe in the middle of the VU campus. Has the best coffee on campus with great alt milk options (MilkLab Almond & Bonsoy soy). Helpful, friendly staff, prompt service. Great selection of preprepared meals & cakes, but only a few gluten free options. Also have fresh meals on the menu, I had eggs on toast (pictured) was delicious! Recommend

We had the antipasto, mixed grill and a range of desserts all was absolutely delicious. Staff were very attentive, friendly, providing a great atmosphere and able to cater to a gluten free requirement. Very well priced for what we got, definitely worth the 5 stars and our group is already talking about coming back! Definitely a not to miss restaurant in Footscray and the inner west, recommend coming with a group so you get to try everything.

Ordered a gluten free vegetarian. It had anchovies. I rang them and told them, took about 5 mins for them to understand because of a language barrier, she also tried to deny it and say she hadn't made any vegetarian pizzas but then blamed it on a new person after I said I have the pizza sitting in front of me and I'm happy to drive the pizza down to the shop, they said they would send another one out and collect the old pizza but never did.

Twice now that I have ordered takeaway and was disappointed by my meals (veg fried rice, sweet and sour fish fillet and bbq pork black bean sauce). There are gluten free options on the menu.

I am really lucky for being the customer of this clean and well maintend bakery that provide best Injera, Ethiopian national super food with a superior nutritional properties,  gluten free and good mineral compositions. Thay provide us a top quality injera,  which is always fresh,rich in eyes, and soft. On the top of that they are cordial and respectful towards customers. They always serve me warmly, sincerely, and happily. Besides thier best approach and top quality Injera, the price is cheap and fair. It is therefore the best Injera bakery in Melbourne. For these reasons this bakery deserves more than 5 stars !!!! If you need top quality Injera and best service, Tg Injera bakery should be your first priority !!

Fantastic food.. the beef BBQ is delicious and adds a lot of fun to the meal! Large size is good for four people if getting a couple sides—tried the crab meat fried rice which was the best fried rice I’ve had. Coconut juice was the perfect pairing, as well. Staff wasn’t sure of allergies (gluten-free), but knew the dishes very well so we could find something that was celiac-friendly. Service was slow, but friendly—generally a hidden gem!

Great Ethiopian food. Best tibs zel zel and doro wat. Authentic etiopian coffee with ceremony. BUT. If they want to attract new clients, offer REAL 100% tef injera which is gluten free. It will draw new interest from people who are celiac or gluten intolerant and promote genuine Ethiopian cuisine.

Great portions, great prices, great food. This place is amazing, if you’re vegan (and even if you’re not) this place is a must visit. Only a five minute walk from Footscray station, making it super convenient. I’d recommend seafood or pork but everything on the menu is delicious. If you need gluten free, most of the tofu and vegetable dishes are okay.

Had an amazing dinner here last night. Food was beautiful and they were able to swap out any meat patty with a very tasty veggie one and had lovely gluten free buns available too. The staff were so lovely and my partner loved the beers here so much that we bought 2 to take home. Will definitely return and recommend this place.

Really delicious Ethiopian food! We got the veggie share platter, great if you’ve got dietary requirements as it’s gluten free & vegan. We went on a quiet day and the service was really fast. Make sure to bring some cash because they do not have eftpos at the time of writing this.

My partner and I have been coming here for years at this point. I always get the vegetarian pho which they offer with gluten free noodels too. Vegetarian rice paper rolls are out of this world. My favourite Vietnamese restaurant in footscray.

I love this place and wanna see it take off even more. Having arepas in the area is a godsend, esp for the gluten free westies. Being able to eat so much good Vietnamese and Venezuelan food in the area because there’s gf options is amazing. The pabellon arepa is my favourite. I’ve eaten here probably over twenty times and my main criticism is that the food is so inconsistent depending who’s cooking, which would be fine if it was all equally good, but sometimes it’s really good and sometimes it’s average. Glad to see the ranchero arepa addition and feel like it’d be amazing with a fried egg, would be nice to have that as an add on for the arepas. Ignore this suggestion if it’s too non traditional though …:)
