Nice rooms and great staff, but It felt a bit overpriced for a spruced up old hotel. The staircase and floorboards squeak, and the rooms were not very soundproof. The front door needs improving its heavy, and the closing mechanism needs superman to hold it open while trying to squeeze your suitcase through. It is ideally located in the main street with everything close by. We had breakfast in the restaurant and would recommend very nice, they even have gluten-free options, just ask the wait staff

We loved the food here, especially the curried beef and excellent hokkien noodles, good old fashioned takeaway, clear and flexible gluten free options, staff were helpful and friendly, nice park opposite.

Just spent a lovely sunny hour on the ferry for the mussel tour. I had advised gluten free when I booked the tickets a week or so before, but unfortunately the ferry people did not advise the mussel people. So I missed out on the taste. The tour included a glass of wine and a very informative talk, video and boat trip. Tracey, from the Little Mussel Cafe, who were supplying the mussel tasting samples and the information, came up to me and very kindly offered me my own private tasting at the cafe after the cruise. It was beautifully presented for the gluten eaters and also for mine later! A fabulous day out!

Love this cafe/deli! We eat and shop here every week. So many yumo gourmet products and menu items to choose from, including gluten free. Always managed to get street parking close or across the road 😀
