This is a negative review directly related to how hot cross buns were being displayed & arranged. The buns were stacked on top of each other & squashed like pancakes. Like so many folks with celiac I have to eat GF otherwise suffer the consequences which can be very severe. I commented to the staff member running the till about the hot cross buns all being squashed & asked if there were any in the back that were not squashed. She blinked at me like a troll from Frozen with a completely lost & confused expression & whispered no. Life is very expensive & this made me sad. I bought hot cross buns from a grocery store for the rest of my family and even those were sad in my eyes but they were not squished. Packaged in a recyclable box measuring 6.5cm in height. I measured kinnikinnicks to find that at the highest point was just over 2cm!! That's not even an inch!! The highest point! I know the person working the till is just staff likely being paid minimum wage (which is another hill to die on) but is it too much to ask for no squished hot cross buns!?!? I would ask that we all take a bit more pride in our jobs, no matter the job, & please be a bit more thoughtful. Can you please arrange baked goods in a way that will not ruin the product? This is sad. If I was the owner I'd be embarrassed.

I got a lemon raspberry cake for a party it was perfect it fed all the people I needed to feed and it was absolutely delicious I would totally recommend and I'm actually holding myself back from going again and grabbing all their tasty looking treats. It feels like being in an actual bakery again instead of kinda being stuck with like very little variety. This place has tons they have donuts and eclairs all gluten free I love it plus staff is super nice.

I wish I knew about this place sooner! Bought a variety of gluten free cupcakes and they were absolutely delicious! My favourite is the raspberry cheesecake flavour but everything else was yummy. I never thought gluten free can be this good. The lady working at the shop was also very lovely! Would definitely recommend this place!

We ordered cupcakes and an 8 inch vanilla cake with chocolate icing on the inside. The cake and the cupcakes were stunning. Gluten free cakes/deserts aren't typically a favorite for those that don't have the dietary restrictions but everyone really enjoyed them!

I ordered 12 assorted gluten free cupcakes from Cookie Mama. Each one of them was so delicious. The cupcakes were moist and just the right level of sweetness. There are several flavours to choose from, I was impressed with the variety. Highly recommend! This will be our go-to for gluten free sweets from now on.

Their food is always delicious, but what sets them apart is the incredible care and thoughtfulness they show toward their customers. Recently, I asked if they could make their gluten-free nuts and bolts mix—a seasonal favorite of mine—and they joyfully agreed, even though they no longer focus exclusively on gluten-free offerings. When I picked it up, they mentioned they had trouble sourcing some ingredients and had to improvise, but they still put so much love into making it. They even gifted it to me, which was such an unexpected and heartwarming gesture. This kindness turned my entire day around. It reminded me how special this café is, not just for their food (which is amazing—I even got to enjoy one of their gluten-free pretzels, my favorite!), but for the heart they pour into everything they do. Very lackluster as no real flavor in the sub I had (korean bbq). The gluten free bun my other half had was nice she said. Bun also didn't taste fresh on mine and not a lot of ingredients on it. Pop $2.25 not $1.50 as it says on the menu sign at the front. Its not that big a price deal but when I pointed it out it was dismissed. That after they mistakenly tried to charge $4.00 for each pop. Bottom line is for the price it was not worth it for me so would not return. Place was clean though.

Bakery items are the shining star here. Gluten free carrot cake was great!! Sandwiches seem to be a big hit. The coffee left a little wanting but that happens. Americano was sans crema. Almond milk latte had a strong off-putting almond flavour. No fault to the barista or the drink.. it's hard to pay an extra $1.50 for almond breeze which is the actual culprit here. Go for Pacific brand. It's the little things. But they do take their coffee seriously! Enter, Marzocco espresso machine. Just sit back and admire. They use high end 1883 syrups from France, the purest and best. Kudos. Highs and lows. Busy place, gets a lot of love. The food will not disappoint. Next time, chocolate croissant 😍

What an amazing and cute little bakery! We sought them out when we were planning our wedding to have at the Olds College. Couldn’t have picked a better place to do our mini cupcakes for our guests! Delicious cake with delicious icing for a very reasonable price. They even accommodated our gluten free request for our celiac guests. They were at the top with sprinkles! Would highly recommend using them for any occasion as they do a phenomenal job! Thank you so much for making our wedding day beautiful!

These are the best bagel sandwiches ever. We went twice on our trip it was so delicious. The gluten free bagels were tender, and didn't have any weird texture as most gluten free products do. The customer service was excellent and everyone was super kind.

Don’t normally like to post bad reviews, but unfortunately, this is not a gluten-free bakery at all. They put the gluten-free baked goods besides gluten products. They really need to update their website and the lady that owned. The restaurant was extremely unfriendly was not helpful at all actually was very rude. Will not be back gluten-free coeliac people please do not go there.

Do Not Feed After Midnight

I always use Crave for birthdays or special occasions. You can order ahead and have them delivered or pick them up. And if you just want one cupcake you can buy one in store. They also have very good gluten free selection of most cupcakes. You can also get both regular and gf. And they will label them in the box. Everytime I go in the staff is always friendly and helpful. Their cupcakes are the best. I have tried a cake before but I found it to be dried out. And only other con is there is a lot of icing on them.

Absolutely love these cookies!! We fell in love with them back when they were just at local markets and you had to get there early to make sure to snag the cookies you wanted. It's been so awesome to see this lady and her company grow and succeed in a storefront in a time where so many businesses are closing. I recently had the pleasure of working with Sweet Tooth Candy Company for my wedding reception, and I cannot recommend them enough. The cupcakes were a huge hit with our guests, and I received so many compliments on how delicious they were. We ordered the raspberry, peanut butter, and black forest flavors, and each one was absolutely delightful. Not only did they taste fantastic, but the presentation was also top-notch. I was especially impressed with the fact that they offered gluten-free and vegan options, which accommodated all of our guests' dietary needs. Pre-ordered gluten free and a dozen regular cupcakes for a birthday party. I haven't purchased their cupcakes in years and we were all very happy to see that the recipes, and level of quality of their cupcakes is still like it was when Fuss was in their early days with just the West end location. The gluten free cupcakes - we chose chocolate with mocha icing, were amazing, tasty and moist. Ordering over the phone was a breeze, our order was ready to go at the time we requested it. Service was friendly. I'm not much for sweets, but if I crave a cupcake, they are always Fuss cupcakes. The only reason they don't get 5 stars is that my favorite flavor is only available on a specific week. They rotate their flavors, so if there is a specialty flavor that you love, you have to time it right. Their regular flavors are fantastic. Bliss, Red Velvet and Cloud 9 are our favorites. I also love their carrot cake cupcake. Not sure if it is a regular item or a rotation one. They have also added flavors that were not on their original menu. It's really nice to see that even with the changes in ownership, the product quality remains consistent. Excellent job, Fuss on Rabbithill!

Uodate: Received a call from the owner. Discussed the circumstances that led to my review. She advised it was a new menu and staff were not quite familiar with it yet. She has since spoken to her staff and will work on providing better information to future customers with food challenges. Although they lost me as a customer, they have completely reimbursed the amount of the bill. These folks went above and beyond in my opinion. Terrible experience, poor food , over priced. I explained to the server I had food challenges and asked what would be open for me to eat. She provided only a few choices, one of which had cheese in it, so I was pretty wary. I ended up ordering the capacious. After one bite I did not like it and put the plate to the side. The texture was off, it felt slimy in my mouth. When she picked up the plate I explained I did not like it. Yes a few minutes later someone else came and said they could accommodate anything in the menu? Why was that not explained in the first place? At that point I declined. I did not realize my dinner companion still had a dish to come, not wanting my companion to feel awkward about eating while I had nothing, I requested fries, they were good thus the 1 star. When the bill icame i was shocked to see they not only did not take the carpacio off the bill I also got charged for the dry unappetizing gluten free bread? There was supposed to be garlic bread with the carpacio. In all my years as a server if someone did not like the food after one bite, you innediately removed it from the bill. Not here. Very poor quality, over priced food. An establishment more interested in making the $$ at any expense rather than building return clientele. Not recommended.

I can't have gluten and have a very serious reaction when I do have it but this place had great treats! The carrot cake and apple caramel cupcakes, they were amazing! We also got some spices which is hard when you have celiac, we got the bourbon and dill spices they are so good I can't wait to stop in again I know they're moving and I'm so excited to see the new shop! Please support this place it's great and really helpful for people who can't eat certain food and I am so grateful for them.

I ordered 6 chocolate confetti cupcakes for my birthday as my husband and I are currently trying a restricted diet for IBS, no dairy, no gluten! I thought my birthday would be filled with tasteless, hard gluten/dairy free cake :( but luckily I found in the mix cupcakes! They were SO delightful and tasted just like real cupcakes! Great Bakery, I often stop by to get croissants, baked goods, or loafs. They offer gluten free banana bread loafs for $14 that is quite good. They're typically very busy and if you come in the afternoon, chances are they've sold out of some of their items.

I ordered a birthday cake for my son’s birthday (all confirmed via text etc). When I went to pick it up it I was told it wasn’t ready yet and to check back in two hours. I called two hours later and they said it was there - but it was actually someone else’s order and my order was not there. They said they didn’t have the order and weren’t sure what happened. I texted the number again to confirm I wouldn’t be charged and the order was not made. I received no response to this message. I gave them a few days to respond with an apology or even just an explanation as to what happened - nothing. I then sent an email explaining what happened in case the situation had not been brought to management. I never received a response to my email. I was left with one hour to source alternative dairy and gluten free cake for a five year old’s party. Incredibly disappointing. My son is a newly diagnosed celiac and I would love to support this business but am seriously disappointed with the customer service.

disappointed. I ordered half a gluten free double cheese sandwich with extra ham. I was charged $2.88 for the extra ham. If as my picture shows this is double ham?? definitely not worth it. Without extra ham would have been 2 of the thinnest slices. Would you even taste the ham? Most likely not. I was charged full price for my loaf of bread that was 50% off. Thankfully I checked my receipt before I left. The cashier was kind enough to refund the 50%.
