I wish I knew about this place sooner! Bought a variety of gluten free cupcakes and they were absolutely delicious! My favourite is the raspberry cheesecake flavour but everything else was yummy. I never thought gluten free can be this good. The lady working at the shop was also very lovely! Would definitely recommend this place!

Love this gluten free shop. I have celiac disease and trust this place. Purchased lots for freezer. Sat and ate a nice chilli, everything was freshly made. Customer service is excellent. Will definitely be back or order for delivery.

I ordered 12 assorted gluten free cupcakes from Cookie Mama. Each one of them was so delicious. The cupcakes were moist and just the right level of sweetness. There are several flavours to choose from, I was impressed with the variety. Highly recommend! This will be our go-to for gluten free sweets from now on.

I always use Crave for birthdays or special occasions. You can order ahead and have them delivered or pick them up. And if you just want one cupcake you can buy one in store. They also have very good gluten free selection of most cupcakes. You can also get both regular and gf. And they will label them in the box. Everytime I go in the staff is always friendly and helpful. Their cupcakes are the best. I have tried a cake before but I found it to be dried out. And only other con is there is a lot of icing on them.

Great Bakery, I often stop by to get croissants, baked goods, or loafs. They offer gluten free banana bread loafs for $14 that is quite good. They're typically very busy and if you come in the afternoon, chances are they've sold out of some of their items.

I ordered a birthday cake for my son’s birthday (all confirmed via text etc). When I went to pick it up it I was told it wasn’t ready yet and to check back in two hours. I called two hours later and they said it was there - but it was actually someone else’s order and my order was not there. They said they didn’t have the order and weren’t sure what happened. I texted the number again to confirm I wouldn’t be charged and the order was not made. I received no response to this message. I gave them a few days to respond with an apology or even just an explanation as to what happened - nothing. I then sent an email explaining what happened in case the situation had not been brought to management. I never received a response to my email. I was left with one hour to source alternative dairy and gluten free cake for a five year old’s party. Incredibly disappointing. My son is a newly diagnosed celiac and I would love to support this business but am seriously disappointed with the customer service.

Over the past year we have made several purchases and ordered birthday and retirement cakes for friends and family and other items. Vibhor, his wife and Dad have been especially kind and helpful to make items gluten free for our family and offering suggestions so that my wife can also enjoy the treats. I was looking for a café to grab a cup of coffee. But, instead I happened upon this gluten-free and sugar-free bakery!! I was amazed at the selection offered because all of the freshly baked items are both GF and sugar-free. I bought some cream cookies and a pumpkin pie for our family Thanksgiving meal. The owner said she set up the bakery because many diabetics find they can no longer eat gluten and many Celiacs become diabetic. She also has a small market that offers GF and sugar-free products.

First-time visitor. I was absolutely blown away by the quality and flavour of the little pies I purchased. Spinach and feta hand pie was stuffed with flavourful filling in a delicate butter pastry crust. The quiche was, bar none, absolutely the best quiche I have EVER tasted. The filling was very soft and delicate and tasted sublime. I also purchased a mini pear custard pie foe dessert, lovely, but I would try a different flavour next time. There is a good selection of all kinds of interesting looking varieties of both sweet and savory treats. I plan to go back, even though it is quite out of my way. They have a Frozen section to take home for later. They can make any pie gluten-free. I was told with 24 hours' notice. If you look at the pies individually, you might think they are quite expensive and you would be right. But you could spend at least that much at MacDonalds or A&W and not get anywhere near the taste or quality of food. Looked at that way, they are a bargain. Even though it is 100km away, I will be back. Well worth a visit.

We decided not to do a cake for our wedding day and did cupcakes and macarons instead. I am celiac and all of it was gluten-free making my day that much more special!! The cupcakes were to die for. We had Red Velvet, Chocolate Mocha and the Classic Vanilla Bean was my absolute favourite. The macarons were a nice two bite size but the flavours inside were full and defined. Thank you Whippt for making our special day oh-so sweet!!

Being celiac can be tough! Always a challenge to find baked goods that actually taste good and have the right texture! Without a doubt, Lisa makes only the best!!! Our team at the Faculty of Nursing contacted Elisa about catering breakfast, snacks, and lunch for a 65 person event on campus. The faculty had a good outcome with previous events catered by them so we opted to use them for this larger multi-meal event. Our attendee numbers shifted as we led up to event. This Good Earth Coffeehouse team was quick to respond to our communications and were flexible and accommodating, especially as we approached the mid-60's for attendees (we expected 50 people originally). They were also reassuring regarding their accommodation for our guests with dietary restrictions. This gave additional confidence in their delivery for the event. On the day of the event, Max and Serhii arrived at their pre-determine to set up the coffee/tea station and breakfast. They provided clearly labelled (names and dietary restrictions) for our attendees with special diets, myself being one of them. They were kind, professional, and prepared. Max and Serhii were a hard working crew, swift in their set up and teardown of the food/coffee/tea stations. We are grateful to this team for their contributions in a seamless planning, delivery, and deliciously catered (and safe for dietary needs) 65-person event. We highly recommend them for large and small catered events. I added photos of our attendees enjoying the event, satisfied with coffee, food, and knowledge (I did not take photos of the food set-up unfortunately). I added a picture of the special diet labels on my breakfast bar (so tasty!) and salad, which was inside this labelled bag. As a Celiac, it is such a relief to have clear communication and labelling on food items.

Lynnette and her team at SWIRL made an incredible wedding cake for us that tasted amazing. With the bride being celiac, we needed to source a wedding cake that was completely gluten free. Lynnette and her team assured us that GF cakes was one of their specialties and that there would be minimal risk of gluten contamination as they do their GF creations on dedicated days. At the start of the process, we were able to pick up a tasting pack and had a virtual consultation with Lynnette as she patiently walked us through all the flavour and decoration options. Looking back at our email thread, we had over 80 back-and-forths with Lynnette in the ten months leading up to the wedding as we finalized the cake design and all the options. Lynnette was always prompt, patient, knowledgeable and friendly in all her responses. We had so many comments about how tasty our wedding cake was and no one could even tell it was gluten free! Very polite staff! Always helpful if you need to find something . Fresh baked goods and cakes . My family buys groceries there often. There are choices for people with gluten intolerance . Clean store . Excellent management . Convenient hours until 10:00 p.m. You can come in after school and buy something for dinner .

I am gluten sensitive and the baker gave me a loaf of whole grain brain made with organic Canadian wheat. He promised I would not have a reaction to it as it is very low in gluten and - he was right!! On top of that, it was delicious. I am now a regular customer.

This was my first time here, the staff were very friendly and helpful. I was looking for some gluten free options, the selection wasn't that large but they suggested if I called ahead I could get their pound cake in a larger format. The small tarts were all really good and the La Crele was a nice small treat that's something one should try. The raspberry tart was also really good. A lot of options to try still, will have to come back again.

This took over the old Starbucks spot inside the Chapters/Indigo. The location is close to my work and they have vegan choices which is nice. Staff are always friendly and helpful, I see Komal/Komel (sorry about the spelling) quite a bit when I'm in and she's very nice. They have quite a few breakfast/lunch choices; Sandwiches, stews/soups, salads, wraps, breakfast oats, yoghurt, muffins and other pastries. I like the lentil/bean stew and some of the muffins. All of the things are labelled if they are vegan, vegetarian, dairy free or gluten free options and they have oat, soy, almond, coconut and lactose alternative milks which is nice.

Stock is kept high, even on 10% Tuesdays. Decent selection and stock of Organic and Gluten Free foods. The cashiers are pretty friendly and the lady who staffs the self-checkout is really helpful - she knows all the produce codes off by heart.
