Lovely and amazing selection but wow, were they sweet, even my kids didn’t eat much. Was gutted to miss the doughnuts, apparently you have to get there early. The sausage rolls were amazing, closest thing I’ve had to a normal one in 20years plus.
Expect a cozy spot with unique menu offerings, quick service, and a lively vibe, perfect for a satisfying meal.

Would certainly recommend this place! Amazing for breakfast and brunch/lunch. I had the Scottish salmon toast, and my gluten intolerant and dairy free friend had the best pancakes. There were a lot of other Gluten free options available!
Sweet staff and quick service even though it was quite busy!
A cozy underground gem with a welcoming vibe, unique decor, and delicious brunch options that are sure to delight any food lover.

Went here yesterday for my sister’s bday. Ordered scrambled egg on toast. It arrived like slop on the plate. Had been done in a microwave and hadn’t been scrambled. Toast was on the side and not buttered with no butter alongside. Completely tasteless. The only thing that saves it is the lovely waitress who was really nice and the gluten free caramel cake which was delicious. Won’t be back though as overpriced and too rustic for my taste.
Enjoy a vibrant atmosphere with quirky decor, generous portions, and a rotating selection of tasty vegan and gluten-free treats.

If you're Gluten Free, go to the other Singl-end in Garnethill. Merchant City say that they're Coeliac friendly and have GF-available on dishes, but when you order those dishes Gluten Free they then say they have to take a lot of ingredients out. Which would be fine, except when we went the chef refused to do the swaps saying it would be too much work.
So despite what my previously excellent experience of Singl-end was (from going to the Garnethill branch), do NOT go to Merchant City if you have Coeliac.
With a fantastic diverse cake selection and a cozy atmosphere, this spot is perfect for a relaxing break after a long journey.

Stopped off for a break from driving with my friend. We had sandwiches and lovely gluten-free mint cheesecake. My friend raved about the pocket full of roses tea, and it was divine. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Oh,and the outside is absolutely lovely with plant pots full of colourful flowers.Weekend will definitely stop here again.
This spot is a treasure trove for gluten-free goodies, featuring standout treats like dreamy doughnuts and fluffy loaves that impress everyone.

Wow, just wow. The best thing for a Coeliac.
I ordered their donuts and poppyseed bloomer bread, cookies and wow they are so delicious.
I'm so picky when it comes to gluten free and generally would rather go without rather than have something interior but these bakes are absolutely phenomenal.
I placed an order Friday evening it arrived on the Tuesday (the checkout does say that they don't dispatch over a weekend!). Well packaged and everything arrived well
It's been the best gluten free food I have ever eaten. Don't bother with the supermarket rubbish as Wheat Free Bakery tastes so much better

This place is my go to for Gluten free food when travelling past Dunkeld, they always have a great selection of gluten free pies, pastys, toasties and cakes. It’s really nice to feel ‘normal’ and have such a big choice!

I ordered a gluten free cake for my grandpa's 90th and it was gorgeous. A change in shift pattern meant that I had to change the delivery address and the bakery couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. Thanks for helping to make the day so special ☺️

Brilliant menu for dietary allergies - the waiting staff took time to explain the menu & advise me on what I could have.
I had pizza which probably had the best gluten free base I have ever tasted. I'll definitely be using this as first choice when I'm in Perth.
Only gripe was the room is very dark - we had to use our phones as torches to read the menu! Otherwise it would have been 5 stars across the board!

Absolutely delicious food, very friendly staff, a good selection on the menu (the soup was really tasty, and wholesome) we had a gluten intolerant in our party, and there was plenty for her to choose from, and she said the brownies were the best she had ever had!

The BEST bakery in Glasgow - for vegans and non-vegans alike! The strawberry tarts are to die for, with fresh in-season ingredients and clearly made with a lot of attention-to-detail. I always stop in for a (gluten-free!) miso peanut butter cookie when I'm in Shawlands. The staff are always lovely and helpful.

Got married in August in the area. We were being very indecisive about the cake and didn't want to spend a lot on a proper wedding cake. Finally, decided to message Aran bakery, with about a month to go. They said they couldn't deliver so we organised the delivery ourselves. We got an apple and olive cake and a gluten free chocolate cake (devils food is the official name if I remember correctly). Oh. My. God. They were so delicious, and I LOVED the butter cream on top. At some point during the wedding, the labels (GF and non-GF) somehow must have not been very visible, and so some people who I know for a fact would never touch a GF cake with a barge pole, came up to me to say that the chocolate cake was delicious!
For the next two days us and the bridal party stayed in a lodge and ate the remainers of the cake right out of the box. It was actually incredible and I still remember that devils food cake. I haven't had a reason to buy a cake since but the moment someone's birthday comes up I'll be on it.

Another awesome brunch at Beefcake. I had the most delicious shakshuka with feta and gluten free toast and my partner, the fabulous roll with everything. Relaxed but attentive service from a very young accolyte who coped well with my single shot cappuccino and my partner's request that his food and tea arrive together. Our third visit, probably the best yet. If only the sun shone on their side of the street, it would have been six stars 🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞
