I’ve loved Fabulous Welshcakes for years. We always pick some up when we’re in Cardiff bay and Cardiff city centre. I love the variety but you can’t beat a traditional Welsh Cake. As soon as we started wedding planning we knew we wanted them for our wedding favours, it wasn’t even a question. There’s a huge range of flavour to choose from and they cater for allergies too! We had one celiac guest and another guest that was celiac and dairy intolerant.. they catered for both! I can’t thank you enough. We purposely ordered extra to enjoy ourselves after the day too. Thank you so much. We had a great experience throughout, from booking to collecting.

An amazing bestoke cafe that is exclusively gluten-free and safe for coeliacs. My wife is coeliac (the reason we go), and I am not; but always find the cakes as good as gluten containing ones. Nicci has some delicious gluten-free free recipes.

Karen and her team were excellent in preparing our Welshcake favours. Clearly labelled different Welshcakes for those that were gluten free or vegan. Karen was polite over emails and clearly addressed pricing and delivery. These Welshcakes were delivered fresh before our event and the guests seemed to enjoy them!

Katharine made my son's 21st birthday Grogu/Yoda cake, he really liked the design and loved the taste and flavour combination of chocolate cake and mint buttercream. My husband said the cake was outstanding and my brother who has coeliacs said wow it tastes like real cake, everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. Katharine was extremely helpful and we'll certainly be back for more cake.

Popped in after work at the hospital to get cash and some gluten free bread and a few other bits for a few days away by the seaside. Good selection of gluten free and dairy free foods. Clean staff, polite, friendly staff. It is more expensive, but I will be popping in again.

New to the the Celiac Club I ordered a box on an impulse buy. We went for the Peanut Butter + Jam and a Black Cherry Cheesecake, they were so tasty the whole fam loved them including mini me. They may not be as large as some competitors but in my humble opinion the size is just right as they are so filling and moist, the price is reasonable given the high ingredients, taste wise you would know they were GF ! Can't wait to try the rest on offer 👍

Hannah who made our wedding cake on the 29th of May 2024 is crazy talented, the cake looked beautiful, it was just as I had imagined and she also made our favours which were heart shaped welshcake and shortbread. Not only that she also caters for gluten free and vegan so for the guests who had dietary needs she made them cupcakes and they came so beautiful packages. The cakes were so soft and delicious. I had a few comments from people who said they don't normally enjoy cake or enjoy the icing on cake but had really enjoyed the cakes that hannah made. Honestly such is so talented. 100% recommend!

Having seen their rolls in a local shop I decided to stop off next time I was passing. They had a wide selection of rolls and other items and it’s now become a regular stop on the was back from my weekly shopping trip. Recommend the ham salad rolls ( made fresh if there’s not any pre-made ones), the gluten free cheesecake and my wife pouts if I don’t get her a Brie & cranberry sausage roll. Limited parking outside but over the past 4 weeks I’ve always found a spot.

We had take away 🥧 pie and 🍰 cake to eat in the park, and thought they were absolutely amazing the steak and kidney pie was well filled and a nice size, the corned beef pie was great as well, the raspberry custard slice was amazing lovely raspberry taste, the strawberry custard tart was also amazing, and also a great price compared to other towns £2.60 a pie, the man who served me was not happy that someone had cut the strawberries on top of the tart instead of whole one's so gave me a free gluten free cannoli which he took great care to use different tongs etc due to it being gluten free. I was not bothered but his passion was not unnoticed. Great place you can tell this by the volume of customers, would definitely return.
