Cutest shop in downtown Long Beach! OMG! If you want dessert… come here!
Whether you want a flight of pie shots, “cutie pies” (pies in little mason jars), a slice, or a FULL pie, you can’t go wrong here.
ALL the flavors are done well (we LOVED marionberry, key lime, & ube cheesecake) and I love all the limited time/seasonal ones as well (banana cream pie when I was there!)
I do highly recommend the flight if you’re indecisive like me because you’re able to try 4 different flavors.
FYI: they also vegan & gluten-free flavors - you don’t se that often!
I will be back, and back again! DELICIOUS!
Moist and scrumptious cake options impress, but floral decorations raise eco-concerns; great for a sweet treat and good vibes.

My husband ordered the “Vegan and Gluten free Chocolate Cake” for my birthday. All I can say is that the cake was moist, chocolaty and simply scrumptious!! I was skeptical at first but the cake proved me wrong and I am glad that it did. Enjoyed every bit of it.
The only part I was not happy about was the fake flower decoration that lead to waste pollution. I wish they had edible flowers or nothing at all. I wish they were more mindful of the planet pollution.

Great empanadas! First time here. I ordered online, went and picked it up. Looked good. Tasted good. I ordered 1 chicken 1 beef 1 pork 1 gluten free and 1 potato ball. The gluten free one was pretty good. Different than the more bready non gluten free ones, but decent. The chicken one was filled with chicken. They are about the size of my whole hand, so a good size. I ate the whole chicken one, half of the potato ball and half of the gluten free and was pretty full. The desserts looked amazing but I didn't try them. Maybe next time!
I had the most amazing gluten free ahimsa burger at higher taste!!! Would definitely recommend to anyone! I'm so excited to try their other items, also the cookies are A+

Good bakery with gluten free and vegan options for muffins and doughnuts, and pasta but not for freshly baked bread. Some small winery wine and chocolate selections. A little pricey. Outdoor seating. Coffee and pastry can be ordered at the counter, the host/hostess seats customers for meals.
Expect a bustling weekend vibe with limited seating and a straightforward setup, perfect for casual hangouts and good service.

It's busy on the weekend. People write their names on the list. They can accommodate gluten free but not officially on the menu so not gluten free bread. It's not small but rectangular and seating is somewhat limited. Street parking. The service and food is good and the price is average.

Fantastic vibes in here! Loved the music and all my friends loved the beer. The sour was my favorite. If you're gluten free, there's the Sake Secret pop up inside and it's legit! If you're new to sake or u need a gf alternative, there's so much to learn and so many Japanese sake options to choose from :)

They do a great job and I LOVE that they offer GF options on some stuff. Some of the combinations are weird to me because the cinnamon in the rolls is VERY prominent toy pallet. However, in our house for the gluten eaters we love the apple pie roll. And for the GF eaters the GF brownies are BOMB! just make sure you call ahead to order as they don't make them daily.

Knowing that cake is heavy I always try not to overeat but to the most part the cakes are really yummy. The cookies are also very tasty and they have a gluten free option with their flourless chocolate cupcakes. Not sure if it's safe for allergies. Finally, the people who work there are always incredibly lovely and seem to be having fun doing what they love to do.

What a treat to have in Long Beach! They are known for their bread and baked goods, but their lattes are unbelievably good, and consistent. They have great natural wines for sale and other fun goodies in the shop. I'm gluten-free, so sadly can't have much in terms of food, but I think they do make a wheat-free financier (obviously not for those who are sensitive to cross-contam). I typically get bacon, potatoes, avocado - just some sides, which are all great. Definitely get their homemade jam - whatever it is, just get it. :)
Had the delicious split pea soup this time. Food is always fresh. Had a great, fun " on top of it" server, and happy to see they have their own Gluten Free menu.
