Came here with my hubby for dinner. We had the boston clam chowder to start gluten free and the gluten free haddock fish and chips. We both agreed it's the best gluten free fish we've ever had. We'll definitely come back and try the gluten free onion rings

Such tasty food and fantastic service as well. You can ask for a separate menu to see the vegan, gluten-free, and dairy free options, of which there are many, including vegan and gluten-free naan. Do not miss the Cauliflower 65. The cocktails are great and the restaurant mood was great too.

Great atmosphere to watch a game lots of options for food.
Portions are a little small for the inflated prices. $3.99 for a tiny bit of guacamole on a chicken sandwich. 2 piece gluten free fish meal with fries was very small.
Service was excellent though

Everything great. But if you are celiac, you need to determine if the risk is worth it. I got contaminated but maybe not everyone is as sensitive as myself. Tasted great, but for me, I cannot tolerate any gluten.
An unexpectedly amazing experience with attentive service that goes the extra mile to ensure a fantastic visit for everyone.

Came here for a family birthday, and must say wasn’t overly impressed. Most of the gluten free options on the menu were unavailable for our gluten free guest. And as a second option got an unflattering, honey pizza, with practically every topping being taken off without our knowledge. The service was a bit slow, although our service was friendly. The food did take a while. Half the guests enjoyed their food well the other half did not. On the bright side at the end of the night we were brought 5 free desserts for the table, which was definitely a plus. That being said I will not be coming back.
With a diverse menu and accommodating vibe, this spot is perfect for gatherings or game nights while enjoying quality service and great ambiance.

We went to watch the NBA game and the Oilers game was on. The owner let us go into the closed section of the restaurant and watch the NBA game while everyone else watching the Oilers. Amazing!!! So thankful that he was so accommodating, we really appreciated it.
Also had their gluten free hot wings and they were also amazing :)

We enjoy Earls' food in general and are incredibly grateful for the locations, like South Common and Whitemud Crossing, for being attentive and accommodating with my daughter's severe sensitivities - gluten and lactose. We can always ask for some small adjustments on a dish to accommodate her and enjoy a family outing. We went to WEM today, and, not looking to experiment with food, we decided to visit Earls, a safe place. Unfortunately, we are quite disappointed with the food and the service at this location. Not only I got my Tuna Poke Bowl with seaweed salad (I've requested otherwise), but my daughter got a parmesan dip with her meal. I had no problem poking seaweed out of my plate and still ate the salad, but it could have ended painfully for my daughter (I've tested the dip before letting her have it). No one asked us how our food was nor if there was a problem since there was a side plate full of seaweed. I mentioned the issues at the end, and I've been thanked for the feedback, though .... lol
This spot combines a lively atmosphere with large, delicious portions, making it a perfect pick for families and date nights alike.

We have always enjoyed the food and service at the Sicilian! It can be very loud on weekends but that is to be expected and it was very warm in there. Other than that we always enjoy our dining experience there :) like that they have gluten free pastas too for individuals!

UPDATE . THIS BAR/ PUB REFUSES MY SERVICES OVER A BURGER BECAUSE THEY CAN'T TAKE A SIMPLE ORDER. I'VE BEEN GOING OR WAS GOING FOR 3 MONTHS EVERY SINGLE DAY SPENDING MINIMUM 40 DOLLARS SOMETIMES EVEN TWICE A DAY. BUT I AM CELIAC AND THERE ARE SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS LIKE GLUTEN FREE BUN AND A PLAIN GRILLED CHICKEN WITH NOTHING ON IT.... IS THAT REALLY AN ORDER TOO HARD TO MAKE? AND ONE DAY OUT OF THE BLUE, A LADY COMES UP TO ME AND SAYS THAT I AM NO LONGER WELCOME TO THE BREWHOUSE ELLERSLIE AND SHE SAID FROM NOW ON, THEY WOULD NO LONGER BE TAKING MY ORDER AND TO LEAVE..I WAS NOT IMPRESSED. I HAVE SPENT THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS IN THAT PLACE AND THE SERVICES THAT I'VE BEEN GIVEN WERE BASICALLY FIVE OUT OF TEN. A FEW OF THE GIRLS WERE VERY, VERY NICE(THEY WERE 10/10). SO NOW I AM FORCED TO DRIVE AN EXTRA 20 MINUTES. DEPENDING ON TRAFFIC PROBABLY LONGER, JUST TO GET THE SAME SANDWICH AND THE SAME ORDER, AND THEY ALWAYS GET IT RIGHT. AND FOR YOUR INFORMATION, I LIVE TWO BLOCKS AWAY FROM THE ELLERSLIE LOCATION, SO YOU CAN SEE MY FRUSTRATION. And multiple times they've made my order with a regular bun. Rather than the gluten free bun, which means i'm paying extra for a regular bun, and I needed my medication to offset some of the symptoms. In my opinion, this is unacceptable careless behavior and service.

Yes so we couldn't resist! We just love the prime rib meal here. It's simple, it was very reasonably priced and came in decent time. Well worth the time! The waitress was a real sweet heart and took good care of us! My grand son left her an Oilers logo he drew. He had the delicious chicken mixed vegetable rice bowl. He's celiac and the waitress and restaurant were very good about it!

I was quite disappointed with my experience having lunch here last week. I went with coworkers and picked CSH because they seemed like a decent choice in the area for gluten-free food. I asked multiple times if the food was gluten-free and about cross-contamination. They reassured me it was safe. I ordered chicken wings and fries and was told they have a separate fryer. It was not safe. I got sick for 5 days after. The symptoms of gluten intolerance and mild allergy began less than 1 hour after eating. I had to take a sick day from work the following day. I don't recommend that anyone with a gluten sensitivity, intolerance, or allergy eat here. The food was delicious!
I now have more evidence that I'm developing an anaphylaxis reaction to gluten, so that's good - right?! 😆
The service was terrible.
They put us at a crappy table by the door and basically forgot we exist 😅 I am not high maintenance, but do appreciate the bare minimum, which we didn't get.
I hope they stop saying it's safe for gluten allergies or study-up on how to avoid cross contamination with gluten before someone else goes through what I did. And, there are other pubs in Edmonton I go to often and have never been glutened.

Delicious mexican food and even better margaritas! This is a great place to hit up before going out downtown!
The vibe is super cool! I really liked it! The green enchiladas were absolutely amazing!
Lots of gluten free options!
Food was delicious. My celiac friend was really happy because of the many gluten-free options, including beer. A bit loud because it was packed on a Thursday night, but worth it.
Crispy deep-fried pickles and a standout corn dog create a flavorful experience, making it a spot worth checking out.

Deep fried pickles were amazing, most places end up making a soggy mess, these ones were crisp and great tasting along with the house made sauce. Ordered the "chickn" basket, taste wise amazing, however it had a slightly spongy texture owing to the fact it was a wheat gluten based food but still very good. Corn dog was almost an exact replica of a pogo but better tasting. Garlic fries were also good. Nice service as well. Would recommend.

My family went out to the Keg for dinner tonight and it was beyond outstanding. I have been recently diagnosed with Celiac disease and discovered the Keg is a safe place for me to eat at.
Once we were seated, our waiter came by and greeted us, sharing the specials for the night. I informed him that I was Celiac, and he made sure to inform me of how serious they take all allergies and pointed out food I could have safely on their menu. Once we ordered, the manager came around to further speak with me and reassure me they were taking precautions to ensure my meal was safe. Even apologizing that their before dinner bread was not gluten-free.
Our meal came out quickly and was perfectly done and delicious. Our waiter kept our drinks full without interference with our conversation. Once we were done, he offered options for dessert that were safe for me to have and I greatly appreciated his care to this.
I will definitely go back and highly recommend the Keg for any special occasions or a nice treat meal out. The price was well worth it. The staff were amazing and we never felt rushed to leave. A very enjoyable evening out.
With a cozy, aesthetic vibe and beautiful decor, this spot offers a delightful atmosphere and delicious, nostalgic flavors.

My husband ordered a meal and asked for ketchup, twice and never did receive it. He asked for a pop, twice, finally received it halfway through his meal. At the end they asked if he would like a top to which he never did receive. I have celiac disease and asked about gluten free options since it was highlighted on the menu. I was really disappointed in the fact that the items listen as gf, where not indeed gf. How can this restaurant claim that their menu items as gf when they are not, so misleading and downright dangerous. If I had not probed with some further questions I would have been very ill by ordering something that they falsely claimed to be gluten free. This shows a lack of understanding in the food industry. I would have expected a restaurant in the downtown core of edmonton to be more professional than this.
I checked I to the Sawridge due to a bathroom reno gone wrong. I left my husband and brother in law at home to fix the problem but invited them to come crash with me as I my room had 2 beds, they never showed. Anyway I was going to go out for dinner and I thought about driving around looking for someplace and decided nope I wasn't leaving the hotel and stayed @ Creations. My server on my 1st visit was Adnan and he was very happy and attentive to my Celiac needs. I started with a glass of wine that was on the Happy Hour Special follow by a Chicken BLT. I was going to go for the Beef Dip but the au jus was not safe for me. BOO. Then after dinner Adnan suggested dessert I declined b/c most Gluten Free dessert is chocolate cake. ENOUGH WITH THE GF CHOCOLATE CAKE PEOPLE. Adnan suggested Cheesecake I politely declined thinking he forgot I was a Celiac. He said it was GF and I really should try it. I relented and agreed. I was thinking it was gonna be GF but also taste GF. I WAS WRONG. This was amazing. When another waiter came to clear my plate I asked him to find out who supplied the Cheesecake as it was so amazing and he reported back to me it was from Wow Factor Dessert in Sherwood Park. I went up to my room and was talking with a friend raving about the cheese cake and within a hour she said she was coming for a drink and a slice. One my 2nd visit that night we were served by Virgil. He was the gentleman who clear my plate and spoke to the Chef about the Cheesecake. We were torn between 2 cocktails and he helped us decide on the Passion Fruit Fizzie or something to that nature. Basically a baby bottle of sparkling wine and some liqueur that you self mix in a flute. It made two flutes so it made up for thrb $14 cost. We both ordered the Cheesecake, yes I had a 2nd peice, don't judge when you are Celiac you stock up on the good stuff. My friend who is not a Celiac kept asking if I was sure the cake was safe for me b/c she thought it tasted too good to be GF. Seriously reader go get the Cheesecake. Anyway Virgil was super friendly and would stop by every now and then to check on us. We built great rapport and chatted for a bit at the end of our visit. I will definitely go back for Virgil, Adnan and Cheesecake

Bodega always impresses! One of our party has gluten intolerance and dairy allergy, and these guys understand how to ensure a safe and tasty meal.
We just had tapas, but each was fantastic - grilled octopus, scallops, and huge shrimp were all gluten and dairy free. We also had Portuguese bread and a mixed mushroom dish that were incredible!
We’ve been to Bodega and Sabor a number of times, and will definitely continue to return.

We have become regulars diners at Saffron for over a year as this south side restaurant has become one of our go to spots for spicy comfort food.
The venue is noticeably polished while this cleanliness standard has been maintained throughout our experience. I will mention I find the venue to be brighter than preference due to a personal light sensitivity however, we usually opt for a semi private booth in a slightly dimmer section. The modern interior is perfectly set up for events and get togethers with an open concept design for the majority of the restaurant which includes a lovely bar. While we don't regularly purchase alcohol within this venue they do have a large list of house cocktails at a reasonable price point.
We currently have favourite dishes at Saffron that we regularly order being; The Chili Paneer with a substitute of Cauliflower instead of Paneer. As Saffron offers options of spice level to their dishes this crispy cauliflower dish can be ordered mildly spicy with tons of flavor available or a high spice level that will provide a sure kick to your taste buds. I would recommend to order the milder version if you are new to spice. Alongside this we also order The Lamb Curry, this is a regular dish of choice for us anywhere we go and have never been disappointed here no matter the spice level. However, I have personal preference for a medium or higher option of spice level for curries in general and continue this trend here. We have also ordered and enjoyed The Goat Curry as well. A side of basmati coconut rice, gluten free roti and peppermint tea with honey accompanies our meal as this provide a lovely sweet side to our normally spicy dishes. If you do not have any sensitives or allergies I would highly recommend to upgrade specfically to their Garlic Naan ( not pictured ) as this always comes out hot and is the perfect match for any Curry.
Seating has always been quick alongside attentive service with short wait times. That being said the wait is always worth it, as we leave with the satisfaction of a full service meal that somehow mananges to also bring us the comfort that is usually only brought to you with home cooking. As always, we look forward to our next visit.

The food was great. The environment was bouncing. Is loud, not a place for a relaxed meal, but to chill with friends. Conversation is next to impossible.
I'd give it five stars but we were overcharged $5/plate. Menu said $15/dish, we were charged $20. We were presented two menus with two different prices for the same thing. So benefit of the doubt I guess. That's the only thing that felt off about it.
Service was friendly and fantastic. We're gluten and dairy free and none of us had problems with the food. The quality is yummy and the portions are huge.
Really liked it otherwise.
The decor was inviting and service by Jemila was very friendly. Every bite was delicious! We loved using the injera to scoop up food with our fingers; it's a great bonding experience. So much work and care goes into the preparation of their Ethopian food. Coffee was serve postmeal with a burning incense and was a perfect end to our meal.
P.S. Bete is a peanut free restaurant and the injera has no gluten. Washrooms are downstairs and not accessible for people using mobility devices.
