Celebrated my 60th birthday here with 27 people. We had a BBQ that was perfectly prepared. Neat plates everywhere for gluten-free, vegetarian, etc. There was delicious salmon, spare ribs, hamburgers, chicken satay with sauce. Sandwiches, fries, pasta salad, regular salad, quinoa salad, grilled vegetables and all kinds of sauces. Everyone was very pleased with the food, they all enjoyed it. The service was perfect. The space we were allocated was also great. Just like the weather. All in all a beautiful location to celebrate your party.
Delicious food, many options for gluten-free dishes, even had separate French fries and gluten-free rolls. Friendly service. Surprisingly good for a museum restaurant.

Simply great! We received a very friendly welcome and our dog was given treats straight away. Very nice, harmoniously furnished location. The service and kitchen team took care of gluten-free alternatives for me. We had the 3-course menu and it was really delicious and varied for the palate!
I am pregnant and follow a gluten-free diet: so I had a few things to take into account, but fortunately that was possible and my questions were answered well. I had a nice meal!
Last Friday evening we had dinner at Hart Beach.
One of my guests has Celiac disease, which means that you cannot eat gluten except trace amounts.
My guest ordered the vegan Flank steak, which states both on the menu and online that it can be gluten-free.
As a precaution, my guest repeatedly asked whether it was really gluten-free, both when ordering and when receiving the dish. This was repeatedly confirmed.
However, halfway through the meal, doubts started to arise because one of my other guests tasted it and didn't trust it. To be sure, we asked again and it turned out that it did indeed contain gluten. The second ingredient on the package was wheat protein, which means gluten.
The manager was called in, but did not make any suggestions to resolve the matter. He was mainly concerned with what it would mean for him. My guest had to ask for a new dish, which only came to the table an hour later.
The waiter was very shocked and fortunately did his best to make amends and removed the dish from the bill and offered a free drink. For the record: this review is not about getting money back or anything.
Unfortunately, my guest became very ill later that evening, with a lot of vomiting, and is still not feeling well. It is now Sunday.
The reason for this review is to warn people with Celiac Disease and to ask Hart Beach to immediately revise the menu, or immediately replace the gluten-free dish and check whether the gluten-free claims they make are actually correct. After all, I wouldn't wish this on anyone.

Excellent service - the staff is always warm and friendly. Great coffee and the best scrambled eggs! They offer many gluten-free options, with a seeded bun as a replacement.
They also have a lovely co-working space at the back, ideal for freelancers, which makes this cafe truly unique!
