We had some spur of the moment pub grub here following two families with young children having just climbed Snowdon summit. Only daughter was coeliac and the chef came out when I asked about gluten free food. He was able to knock up an adult portion of gammon eggs and chips but replace the chips for potato mash which was 100% gluten free. I really respected the chef coming out and giving his honest opinion on what he can cook and be 100% confident. The meals are huge, tasty and with good quality ingredients. Considering we were weary and tired from a days hiking, this pub delivered over and above. I don’t review often but I was so impressed with the meal and friendliness and catering where possible for the coeliac, that I felt a rating worthy. Top rated.

Food was delicious, I had the vegan coleslaw and jacket potato with beans. Very big portion but had no idea if the crisps were gluten free or not. More choices for vegans and gluten free would be helpful. Callus was amazing, tried his best to accommodate and very smiley chap.

Best gluten free pizza I've ever had. They make the GF crust on site. Friendly staff.

Really lovely food and good portion sizes. Also had good vegetarian and gluten free options. The only thing I'd say is that the staff are quite young and could do with more training. One started to clear the table whilst one of us was still eating for example. Just a few things like that. But they were very attentive, just inexperienced. Will certainly return as the food really was great!
