Superb Chinese restaurant. I ate here 2 nights in a row because it was so nice. Restaurant was fully booked which was a testament to its quality but the staff managed to squeeze me in.
Huge amount of gluten-free options which were all really tasty. The staff were really friendly and the service was excellent, as was the food. I'll certainly be back if I'm in North Wales again.
Perfect spot for groups celebrating special occasions, offering a fantastic atmosphere and accommodating service that keeps everyone happy!

This hotel / public house is set in the stunning village of Nevern in Pembrokeshire. The room we stayed.is was very comfortable and we slept.through. It was nice to stay somewhere with thick curtains that blocked out the morning sun. The mattress was very comfortable and I suffer with a chronic pain condition. We were warmly welcomed by two staff who were very welcoming. We stayed for an evening meal and as a coeliac was blown away by the choice provided. I particularly enjoyed.the lamb. In the morning we were greeted by a fabulous member of staff who made us feel welcome. The breakfast was amazing and I particularly enjoyed the lavabread potatoes. And our dog loved her.sausage too. Can not fault our stay.

My husband and I had dinner at the Plough this evening, from the moment we arrived, we were greeted by Zac, who was professional friendly and very helpful. I had made a mistake when booking a table but Zac managed to find us a table.
Zac was able to advise on my dietary requirements and there were excellent Gluten free options.
The food was fresh, tasty and of a high standard.
Would highly reccomend and will definitely return.
Zac is a real asset to the Plough and has excellent customer service skills, thank you Zac.😊

Booked a table in the bar for 2 adults and 2 teenagers and the dog. The welcome was great and the 2 ladies working the bar were friendly and made us all feel very welcome. The food was delicious, and of a great quality. The white chocolate cheesecake was amazing. Staff also took time to run though gluten free options with a neighbouring table and adjusted menu items to help them. Great little pub and restaurant.

Nice clean hotel & room. Stayed for 5 nights and would definitely stay again. Comfy bed and restock of toiletries & tea/snacks. Staff always kept my room clean & tidy and bar/restaurant staff knew of my gluten allergy and were always happy to accommodate. I ate very well every night and the staff were always happy to help me in any way. Very polite & friendly staff.

One of the best places in Llangollen for gluten free cakes and savoury options. An honourable mention of the best matcha latte in the area too. The gluten free cakes are so delicious, I would recommend the apple pie! The service is fabulous and the outside decking area overlooking the river is not to be missed!

Hard to put words to how beautiful the exterior and interior of The Manor was. I went with my fiancé, his mother, and her boyfriend.
My English fiancé suggested I order the Sunday roast. Ordered mine pink and it was so tender and flavorful and the gravy went perfectly with it. Said their gravy was gluten free. Awesome. Roasted vegetables are easy to love, but my favorite was the roast carrots and red onions.
He ordered the bream and salmon. I picked off his plate; though I hadn't had bream before, I preferred it to the salmon which was still great. He had sticky toffee pudding for dessert which is Not gluten free, but I just had to try some. Delicious.
Afterwards, we walked a little bit around the green which has another gorgeous view of the Welsh countryside.

This is the hotel gem in Llanelli. This was our second visit and won’t be the last.
The room was spacious, beautiful huge soft fluffy towels. Everything for a good nights sleep was catered for. Ample space to move around the huge bed .
Best nights sleep we’ve had in a hotel for ages. Our room had a lovely view of the lawns. Lots of parking space .
The owner is such a gent, as is his chef and staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Dietary needs ( Gluten and lactose intolerance) were catered for.
We’ll definitely come again when back in the area.

We were looking for a place for a short break during the Christmas break. From the moment we went through the doors and saw the twinkling Christmas tree and warm reception staff we felt incredibly welcome, The Beaches was a really relaxing oasis for us. We stayed in the triple room with sea view which was fantastic, just right for me, my wife and our young son. The pool was such a draw for us and we used it on both days of our stay. It was fantastic that it was open all day we enjoyed it so much, our son was thrilled. We dined in the restaurant on our first night and it was really delicious. A cosy welcoming space with great food including really good gluten free options which was so refreshing to see. We had room service on our second night which was such a treat. All the staff we encountered were friendly. All in all we had such a great stay and we would happily return to The Beaches. Thank you.
Great service from the staff, great food, great environment, with a choice of verandas overlooking the harbour.
Also great for gluten free diners if you need this.

We had some spur of the moment pub grub here following two families with young children having just climbed Snowdon summit. Only daughter was coeliac and the chef came out when I asked about gluten free food. He was able to knock up an adult portion of gammon eggs and chips but replace the chips for potato mash which was 100% gluten free. I really respected the chef coming out and giving his honest opinion on what he can cook and be 100% confident.
The meals are huge, tasty and with good quality ingredients. Considering we were weary and tired from a days hiking, this pub delivered over and above. I don’t review often but I was so impressed with the meal and friendliness and catering where possible for the coeliac, that I felt a rating worthy.
Top rated.

Spent a delightful few hours in this lovely restaurant for my parents in law's 60th wedding anniversary. The food was excellent quality and beautifully presented. We were well looked after, 2 in the party are gluten free and there were no issues and all meals were happily adapted for us. I've got to say its the best meal I've had in a long time. I look forward to returning soon.

We booked three rooms in Osborne House for a two night stay as my partner and I were getting married in Llandudno and wanted somewhere really special to stay. It did not disappoint. The hotel itself is stunning, as are the rooms. So much charm. The rooms are wonderfully elegant. The staff were superb. As we were a wedding party, all 16 of us met in the hotel bar for drinks and the staff accommodated us beautifully. My partner and I are both vegan and another guest is gluten free. They bent over backwards to ensure we didn't miss out on a tasty breakfast which was brought to my room. On the morning of the wedding they went the extra mile to ensure that I got into my taxi on time and they kept congratulating us all evening, which was really lovely. I can't recommend staying here enough!

We definitely picked a little gem for our visit to Wales! The hotel was lovely, our room was large and the bed was SO comfortable. There was parking AND breakfast which is hard to come by nowadays! The breakfast itself was so delicious and cooked to perfection. We did ask for gluten free bread on the breakfast request and we completely understand not all places can accommodate this but kitchen staff didn’t mention it on both mornings which was unfortunate but hardly a negative!
We ate dinner on one night which was great and our party of about 20 were very well looked after.
The hotel is located within walking distance to amenities and some lovely little shops. Also we walked along River Usk and up to the castle, both incredibly beautiful.
Last but by no means least I have to say that the service we received from the staff was second to none. Every member of staff we came into contact with were polite, friendly and super helpful. Not only did this reflect the true Welsh reputation for being wonderful and welcoming but also hats off to the owners for employing such a great team of people. A special mention goes to the staff member who stayed up until 3am to ensure we were back safe when we got stuck at a venue following issues with a cab firm. We really appreciated it.
We would definitely choose to stay here again when we come back to the area!

The last time I was here, I gingerly came for a coffee and fudge with Lucy, my daughter after one of her many hospital appointments just as COVID lockdown had been lifted It was just what we needed that day, probably a year ago now.
There's an electric charging point for a guest or restaurant car, spacious car park and friendly helpful reception desk as you walk in. The bar staff are always quick to smile and interact and they make me feel as if they remember me, though of course they don't😁
So, belatedly, more recently I booked for supper for Rob and I on Valentines Day. I know, I know! Surely another date for companies to make money out of us?! You know what, sometimes it's important to pick a date and celebrate the good things you have in life and of 14th Feb makes you do that, well that's no bad thing. That night was for me to celebrate Robin and everything he does for us, particularly Lucy who's been so ill out of the blue back in 2020. Not easy for a 25 year old and a step dad she didn't plan on having to be thrown together for 2 years.
So, back to Wolfcastle Country Hotel. I booked it and they assured me they'd tweak the menu for me as a Coeliac when I called. I wanted to treat Rob and surprise him (even if Lucy blew the surprise bit by asking us did we want her to leave for the weekend - twit🤣)
A 6 course meal and coffee and I splashed out unusually on a bottle of Sancerre. Lovely wine to have and try it if you haven't. Its one of my top 10. The food was just the right balance of volume and varied tastes. The magical designs and layout of food on the plate. Wonderful. I can't eat fish and molluscs at the moment unless we line catch them and gut and freeze them or gut and eat them on the day we catch them. So the fish and crustaceans were out for me but Rob loved that course along with the rest. The palet cleanser of sorbet was just right too and a great choice. The chef helped me have courses that worked and were a joy to eat, thanks to all the kitchen staff. They even had GF bread for me which looked and tasted homemade. The table service was excellent and the chap who opened the wine was a little nervous about corks so I reminded him we'd all been there and to take his time and not worry. It would all be fine in the end and he opened it perfectly. All the table staff had their work cut out that night and they worked efficiently and were always personable, pleasant and friendly to deal with. They were busy that's for sure!
As I looked around there were a good handful of 'oldie' couples like ourselves, which heartened me and some younger couples there too. Made me very pleased that while Valentines Day might be a bit of a nonsense, we can still find time to say I love and appreciate you with a meal.
Wolfcastle Country Club did a wonderful event and we've had excellent meals there before. I just haven't taken the time to say and I could have many times before.
We've had such a lovely evening and previous service and food we've taken a membership out and Rob's booked us in for a night, meal and spa day for me for my birthday. Another surprise but altered by me catching COVID just last week. Of all the times and we've been so careful here. Oh well. I'm sitting waiting for my clear test and a gap of 10 days isolating as I'm so keen not to risk anyone else's well being. Glad I do spot check LFT.
So, a big thank you to Wolfcastle Counry Hotel for our fabulous Valentines meal. 👏👏👏
Turned up without a booking which was no problem.. waitress was very knowledgeable about gluten free items on the menu which was great. Food was very tasty.

I came to use the spa and restaurant. It's lovely that this option is open to locals as well as hotel guests.
My personal preference is for a spa with natural light, so I immediately felt a little claustrophobic in this spa as it has no windows / natural light and the lighting is intentionally dimmed. However it's clean, calm and well managed. Good size sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. The tiles are quite slippery underfoot.
Had a delicious warm gluten free scone in the bar downstairs, with a gorgeous sea view. Super chilled vibes.

The restaurant/pub is set back from the main road, almost opposite the Haven holiday park and has a good location.
The décor is interesting and more old world than modern in the bar area. Dogs are allowed to come in which is good and there is space to settle in.
I'm mainly reviewing the food as that is what we had there. Overall the quality of the food is excellent and chef makes everything from scratch, so don't be in a rush.
As it's made to order, gluten free is offered on most dishes and vegans are well catered for.
Meal prices range from £16 - £30+ for mains and £5 - £10 for starters.
Overall a pleasant visit and the food and chef were the highlight of the evening.
Definitely worth a visit if looking for a evening meal out. 👍
