Unreal restaurant especially if you have dietary restrictions. Nearly the entire menu is gluten free which is awesome because they have local delicacies like scotch eggs and haggis that you can’t find GF elsewhere. They were super diligent with other allergies and dietary requirements. Also, make sure you check out the mushroom emporium in the basement!!
Charming spot with a delightful French vibe, fantastic drink selection, and a welcoming atmosphere, ideal for a relaxed gathering.

We were in the neighborhood doing some shopping and one of the shoppes mentioned Côte. It was nearby and we walked in during a busy lunch time. The accommodated us very nicely considering we didn’t have a reservation. I adore French food but never get to go when dining with my daughter who is gluten and dairy free. However, they had so many items to choose from for her. The food was outstanding!!! Cannot wait to go back.

Very nice dining atmosphere at this venue and there was an acoustic music gig as well on Halloween. There's a gluten free menu too which is great. Overall, the service was very friendly, especially from Mallory the waitress who served me. The shop could be stocked with a wider variety of souvenir items though.

Adapted gluten-free breakfasts, without contamination. They give you gluten-free bread if you want and the menu says what does NOT contain gluten. Celiacs, you can have breakfast in peace, my celiac wife was not contaminated.

Had lunch here, food very nice. Massive portions and excellent gluten free choices. We had the mussels and fish and chip and they were delicious. Cosy atmosphere in the back, with a little fire.

This is a bar focused restaurant, so it's quite casual. Gluten-free churros, with delicious dip- highly recommended. Yum! The roasted beets ranged from cold to hot but mostly luke warm. Beets tasted good, but I was bothed by the temperature inconsistency. I was told this was normal.
Known for its accommodating vibe, this spot is great for groups and offers a fun pizza-making experience for kids.

Great food... Great atmosphere.... It amazing service! We went here for our first restaurant in Edinburgh and it didn't disappoint! First of all my wife is gluten free and they had a really good GF pizza crust, GF bread for hummus and many many other options. Second, the atmosphere was electric and seemed for of energy! Third, the service was amazing!!! Alexandra deserves a raise! She was awesome! We asked her a question not related to the restaurant (a good bar to go to) and she spent time to ask others about their recommendations! Just great service!!! But seriously if you own this establishment, make sure people like her stay here!
Cozy atmosphere with stunning views, great cocktails, and a fantastic whiskey selection make this spot a must-visit!

Went with my mum and aunt, mum is coeliac. Both rated their food 10/10 (and are usually a little fussy). My burger was great, chips fluffy and generous portions. Beef burger slightly pink and tender, gluten free fish and chips crumbed batter lovely and crisp. Service very friendly and warm.

I went for the unlimited tapas last night and I explicitly said multiple times that I’m allergic to gluten and they fed me 3 gluten tacos. In which I had to go hospital after the dinner. - they still charged me for the meal.

Myself and two pals were looking for a meal following a tour of Holyrood Distillery and were lucky to pick tapas3 from a google search. The food was excellent as was the service. Two of us are coeliac and were delighted to find that the majority of the menu was gluten free.
My daughter ordered a Gluten free burger as she is has coeliac disease. Waited ages for the food. Once arrived she asked for ketchup. That never came. She suspected her burger bun was not gluten free so double checked with the staff, she promised it was Gluten free as she had put it through as that. There was no flag like you normally get and the receipt did not state gluten free.
Needless to say my daughter is VERY ill today. Avoid if you are have an allergy.

Cool Jade is a cool British take on Chinese cuisine, and the delivery is perfect. They have only a few gluten-free options, and this is not the place for pure traditional authenticity, but all dishes we ordered were truly delicious and of great quality.

The set 3 course Christmas menu was nicely varied and as a party of 7 we ordered right across it. All dishes were rated excellent and flavoursome. Adaptations were made by pre order for my friend who is gluten free. The atmosphere was Christmassy in a foliage and white lights way with a soul based playlist. Service was very friendly and attentive but discreet. It was noisy but at this time of year when fully booked and the wine is flowing but you expect that. Would recommend.

As a local, these are one of the best burgers I've had in Edinburgh. Be brave and try the Veggie burgers (esp. The fromage). They won't disappoint. Gluten free options as well. It is very loud though. Not recommended for people with hearing aids. Dogs are welcome.

Really disappointing experience. Made a booking for a large group for dinner and drinks. Limited space available despite communicating the group size. Very poor service. Lots of miscommunication from the servers, some saying we can order food from the restaurant and bar and some only saying bar. GF guest told they were out of all snacks and that they don’t do gluten free options only to be then told if you come back in 5-10 we may be able to help you.
Long waits for drinks and probably the worst expresso martini. Do not recommend.

The majority of the items that we wanted to order from the festive menu was already sold out by the time we ordered our food. Given that it was mid-service it was frustrating that our choices were so limited.
The heating was blasting and the restaurant incredibly warm with no clear way to turn the radiator behind us down.
A wine glass had lipstick on the rim, not our’s.
Our server was polite but had to repeatedly ask the kitchen questions and didn’t have many answers himself. A different server repeatedly leant across directly in front of me. The server gave conflicting info about the gluten-free range, which was concerning.
It seemed chaotic and not particularly well-run. Poor and disappointing.
Booked for a quick late lunch and was so impressed by the friendly, prompt service and the full gluten free menu for my coeliac friend! Soft serve ice cream was such a vibe too.
Enjoy a peaceful atmosphere with well-spaced tables and cozy decor, making it perfect for a relaxed dining experience.

we went there twice and it was very good! the cheesecake was one of the best i ever had! my dad has a gluten allergy so we asked about gluten free food and it was no problem!
i found the ciabatta a bit too dry and the haggis cakes don't go too well with the overpowering mustard dip. it was still tasty though.

OMG yes I highly recommend this eatery. I think I ate dinner here 4+ times out of the week. The employees were friendly and attentive.
I tried different items off the menu, but I must admit I always went back to the pizza. That dough and the way they hand make it were stupendous.
They also offer gluten-free penne and spaghetti.
Great location and the prices were reasonable, hence the multiple trips there.
Oh oh they make their own beer, I had multiple Hopo Lagers. I believe they have 4 that they craft.
Great choice for lunch or dinner. You can join their rewards program too and receive discounts, just mention it to the servers and they will adjust the bill.

Really busy Edinburgh Tattoo time but still managed to fit us in (party of four). Not any good if you have mobility issues as you have to go down stairs. It doesn't look much from the outside but warm atmosphere inside also have a great terrace area for eating outside. Now to the food when the waitress came first thing asked was if anyone had any allergies I'm coeliac so was glad to hear they are aware was given a list of all the things that had anything in that could make me ill giving me the chance to make a decision unfortunately most things did contain gluten but I asked if it was possible to have the lamb chops without haggis girl checked with chef (she was new and only 14 bless) she came back and said chef could do lamb chops with mashed potatoes and veg with a red wine gravy all gf and it was absolutely delicious and I had no side effects so obviously no cc. only reason for 4 stars is the stairs going in. Would recommend this place to eat.

We came in here as it was out first day in Edinburgh. My partner is gluten-free and it looked like a great place to go. It was friendly, a warm welcome and the staff were extremely polite. They even had time to talk you you. Our waitress was called Katie who is from new Zealand. Food was fresh and delicious, very reasonably priced. The burgers were beautiful. We even went back the following night for a few drinks and sat outside. The atmosphere for both visits was great. Definitely recommend going here for food and drink. Thank you for your hospitality. I'll be back when next in the city.
