Champagne& vodka cocktails - yum! No sound absorbers in ths small intimate dining room, consequently noisey. Touch oversalted. Would recommend. Really gluten friendly.

My partner and I live in Rochester but travel everywhere, always looking for a new place to eat out at and Lento is just top tier for us; we always, always return to this gem. The rotating menu, farm to table, gluten free and dairy free options are what make this place so incredible. Every time we come here we get something different and we’ve always been over the moon with the service we’ve received. Hailey is incredible!! Above and beyond and such a joy to be served by her. We recommend this place to everyone. If you get dessert we HIGHLY recommend getting the pear ginger Riesling sorbet. It’s amazing, especially when paired with the Mandarin sorbet, we enjoyed sharing a scoop of each after our exquisite meal. Oh, and drinks are second to none.

Sydney was a joy to have as a server. 😍She even upgraded us right on the spot! We moved from some sad little 4 top, no offense but I could barely squeeze around it!! 🤣🤣🤣, to a LOVELY corner booth for our comfort!! She kept our fries COMING IN HOT!!! 🔥🔥🔥 We were having a fun little girls night out and she just made. it. Normally we enjoy a great meal but this particular experience was not good for a diner in our party with a gluten allergy. She ordered a meal that included gluten free pasta and when it came, the pasta was barely cooked, and it was returned to the kitchen. When it came back the pasta was cooked a bit more but still not cooked enough to enjoy. She ended up having to take it home and finish cooking the pasta herself.

Dinner was fantastic. We had a change of dinner plans for a group of 9, and they sat us in 15 minutes. The service was excellent; our waitress took such good care of us, and we got our food quickly. We also needed gluten-free options and were very impressed with how knowledgeable the staff was in accommodating our needs. Highly recommend this place for both the service and the food quality! ---

Tapas 177 is such an incredible restaurant in every single way from food to drinks to service to the vibe. This review is about catering!! We worked with Chris Z who is an absolutely phenomenal person. Chris helped us pick out our menu and coordinated everything with us — all the way down to mentioning changes in texture from our usual restaurant experience to general effects of transport/time! Everything was delivered on time and set up perfectly. Even better, it was DELICIOUS and EVERYONE was extremely happy with the options!!! One thing Tapas 177 does exceptionally well is dietary restrictions. They’re very clear about risks with shared fryers but also take great care to label things. The variety on the menu allowed for us to cater gluten free and vegan without settling for things we weren’t interested in. Variety!!! So sorry to my future children but eating a mountain of Tapas 177 spring rolls with my wife on our wedding day is impossible to top. Thank y’all so much!!!!!

This place has been on my local restaurants to try for awhile now. It did not disappoint. I went with a couple of my girlfriends, one of which is gluten free. This place was perfect because they have several gluten free and also vegan options for anyone looking for those dietary choices. I started off with the duck wings, which were so much larger than I expected, perfectly crunchy with a somewhat sweet sauce (reminded me of country sweet sauce) which really married the flavors. I chose to have the gnocchi with peas, large thick pieces of fresh pancetta, mushrooms, in a light cream sauce with parmigiana shavings. I needed to add some more seasoning and parmigiana, but ultimately it was good considering it was listed as gluten free. This place is worth a try. It is perfect to go with friends, a romantic dinner, or also great for double dates.

I used to have the most amazing experiences here, never had any issues. However I went here for Valentine’s Day and my pasta definitely tasted like regular pasta (if you know, you know). I asked the waitress to check with the cook and since we were sitting right by the kitchen, we saw the chef get mad because they had just closed the kitchen and he didn’t want to make a new meal and said to “just tell her it’s gluten free”. I brought this up to management with no response, so I won’t be returning here sadly.

Absolutely LOVE this authentic restaurant after our visit. Extensive menu, made all my food Gluten-free, generous portions for a very fair price. Chips & salsa to start off, no charge while perusing the menu. The Carne Asada dinner that I received on a sizzling cast iron was HUGE, with plenty of rice, beans, lettuce, tomatoes, chiles and corn flour tortillas to fill you up. The chorizo appetizer and poblanos were great, my guest's chicken dish was excellent. We needed to-go containers by the end of it.

We stopped in today for lunch because they have gluten free rolls available. It was fantastic! The Vincenzo Panini, chicken with spicy soppressata, was delicious! The Cubano Panini was unique with capicola instead of ham. Mom loved it! Tom is a great host. We will be back.

We came up to visit our student for a concert and was looking for something nice but not outrageous. This place was amazing! The food was delicious, the prices were reasonable, especially for what we got and the service was wonderful. My gluten free husband had plenty of options as well. Our waitress was outstanding. We hired AVVINO to cater our wedding and it was a great decision. Janine is so easy to work with and makes the process go very smoothly. We were able to have a nice date night at their lovely restaurant prior to the wedding and we enjoyed every second of it. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. The food is amazing and they were able to adjust to any requests we had such as gluten free and vegan/vegetarian. We would highly recommend AVVINO to anyone!

Terrific new American food. Loved the food, and an amazing, extensive, and very well made cocktail list. Entrees are intended to be consumed family style. Just delicious, were able to handle gluten allergies as well. Crowded, loud, active. Good wine list, although we didn't explore it because the cocktails were so interesting. Highly recommend.

BEST MAC AND CHEESE in Rochester. Hands down. Best french onion soup in Rochester also. Love the Cajun dry rub boneless wings!! The onion fries and funnel fries are delicious!! I’m not gluten feee but have friends who have serious gluten allergies and this place has specific gluten free fryers dedicated to providing an allergen-free experience for customers. Clean place and I especially loved the family bathroom. Men need a place to change their babies diapers too and I don’t know of any men’s rooms with a diaper changing station. Staff is super friendly and the “Cheers” vibe was nostalgic. Great job to all at Rev It Up. Wishing you a lifetime of success!!

Recently celebrated my son’s 25th birthday at Capitano. The atmosphere is amazing! We were promptly greeted by Lia who is very friendly and attentive. Our group started with some beautiful cocktails and antipasto. The menu is well rounded, something for everyone. Portions are very generous! Some of your favorites are Lobster risotto, seafood Mac and cheese, gnocchi and spicy rigatoni with chicken cutlet. Also desert is a must even if you take it to go! I had the flourless torte as I’m Gluten Free. This restaurant is very accommodating for GF! Our server Tiffany provided great service! We will definitely return.

Biiiiiig fan of Recreo! We've gone a couple times in the past few weeks and always have a great experience. I love that it has the feel of an upscale bar (with awesome & eclectic decor) and that you can walk to the back and play skee ball. How cool! This past time, we met Brynne, and she was great about making food recommendations and ensuring we were having a great time! The cocktails we've had there have been out of this world (I got the Oaxacan and it was so tasty). I haven't tried the food yet, but that's next on our list - unlike most bars, they list which menu items are gluten free and/or vegan, which I appreciate. Can't wait to go back!

Love Strangebird! They have a fun cocktail menu and great food options for gluten free folks. Their fried items are GF and made in a dedicated fryer, and as a celiac, being able to get a good piece of fried chicken at a restaurant is really exciting! Unfortunately they don't have GF buns yet (which is strange), but hopefully they change that soon.

Christopher's is a restaurant I would recommend to anyone I know! Paul catered my wedding just two weeks ago, and our friends and family are still RAVING about the food & service. Not only did he provide the food for us, but he was sure to see that every detail of the day went flawless. He personally, along with his staff, made sure that my groom and I were provided with food and drinks the entire evening. His staff provides fantastic service with a great attitude. They were friendly, caring, and worked with a smile the entire night! Paul created a special menu for us, catering to my gluten free intolerance. Everything we ate that night was delightful, from the bacon wrapped scallops, to the potatoes, to the chicken marsala! If you are looking for someone to cater any special occasion for you, this is the guy! He and his staff will not let you down! Thank you Paul!!!

Absolutely wonderful!! Russell was the BEST server. Honest and attentive! We will be back because of him. Food was excellent. Our one fillet was overdone and they immediately took it back and fixed it. Refilled our wines and gave us two desserts for my mom's birthday and remembered she needed a gluten free dessert. Top notch. Pricey but worth it!!❤️

I checked online before going to make sure they could accomodate me as a gluten free vegetarian. The menu I saw said they have GF pasta and pizza crust. However when we arrive I was told they didn’t have those things. Apparently this Branca and the one in Bushnell’s Basin are owned by different people and have different menus. If you’re gluten free, skip Midtown and go straight to the Basin location

We held a private event here and Nikki was amazing!! She was always in contact with me and she went above and beyond making it an excellent experience! The food was amazing especially my gluten free pizza! Drinks are excellent as always their beer is probably the best in Rochester (for those who drink beer) for gluten free people they also have cider and wines! Also very nice on a nice summer or spring day to sit out front near the fires! New update went again for Date night and so delicious! It was packed but that is good! We sat at the bar and I got the Betty White pizza with cauliflower crust and the OSB cider so delicious!
