A wonderful deli in South Reno. It's very popular so if you're there between 12-1pm, expect a little bit of a longer wait time for food. However it's not really that bad and I would recommend for all. They are great for those with food allergies as they have many delicious options. My wife prefers their gluten free focaccia bread if you get a sandwich. I love the Dutch Crunch! They have indoor or outdoor seating and its shaded on hot days. Enjoy!
Yummy Sandwiches
The vegan sandwiches are delicious, the meatball being the best. My only qualm is that the bread (no matter which I choose) is dry/crumbly. The fixings inside are so good though I usually just pick off the bread.
Pros: Entire sections of the menu dedicated to vegans, Very accommodating, Also has gluten free items
Cons: Dry/crumbly bread - why
Best Sandwich Spot in Reno!! Tons of options from cold sandwich to hot sandwich, gluten free bread and regular bread. I always get the Cuban Tampa Style when I go here. By far the best Cuban Sandwich I've had in a long time! Highly recommend stopping in here!
Teas you didn't know existed are there, so if you are a tea lover, or just looking for a different experience, it is the place to be
The service is always friendly and prompt. They are always knowledgeable and passionate about their product. It's fun and refreshing to have a tea house rather than a coffee house. There is a wide variety of CAFFEINATED and HERBAL (no caffeine) tea leaves, and tea blends and types of tea drinks, just like at a coffee house . Dairy and ALTERNATIVE MILKS are all available.
They have some refrigerated macro Foods sandwiches and desserts, which is a nice alternative... I haven't found any I can have- because even though many of them are GLUTEN FREE none of them are dairy free or KOSHER. They also have a selection of normal delicious pastries that friends who don't eat healthy or have allergens can go eat and enjoy.
They have a small inside place to sit, converse, and even play a small game. There is a second, small, area that is tented. And there is an open, outside area with chairs and shade trees. Unfortunately I didn't say there last time because someone stood there and smoked cigarette after cigarette and my lungs cannot take that.
The atmosphere is clean and both identifiable as a coffee shop type place even though it's a tea shop and unique as Too Soul Tea. the inside seats are and the noise is not too loud but neither is it super quiet. But there's no blenders going off or blaring music or TVs.
There are a few little Artisan jewelry and similar items for sale.
You'll notice the address is a one half because it is a building in the middle of a parking lot surrounded by other buildings. There's plenty of room between them and there is dedicated parking and there is a BATHROOM.
But you can't see it from the street. So you have to just trust when Google tells you to pull into the parking lot.
It's a small building, so there's nothing dedicated to wheelchair accessibility. But you probably could go if it's not too large of one. Like, on one of my wheelchair days, or if I had a friend in a wheelchair, I could probably take them there. Especially to sit outside with tea or use the bathroom. And it's a level door to get into. It's nice that there's no sidewalks or long way to go all the way around the building looking for the wheelchair entrance. Which is very nice. ( My husband likes to pop wheelie for those times and it makes me feel not fun 😆) But neither does it scream wheelchair accessibility. Because it could be a little tight inside. So on that count you're probably going to have to judge for yourself.
All in all it's a place I like to go and take people. And even have a mini date with my spouse.
I put some things in caps for those people who are needing to just skim really fast for what they need.
Diverse menu with fun names and tasty options makes this spot a must-visit for sandwich lovers eager to explore every flavor combo!

Holy moly this place hits the spot. No pun intended. I have loved every sandwich I've tried so far. They have a large menu that has a really good variety and fun names. Adam is super helpful (everyone is though!), especially asking about gluten free stuff and what goes well on all the sandwiches. And the gluten free bread is really good! I'm excited to try every sandwich, no lie.
Very delicious subs, staff was friendly helping first time customers and help explained what this business was about. They helped us pick good subs, no gluten free bread but the lettuce wraps was very good.
Discovering this hidden gem on the way back from Lake Tahoe is a delight, especially with homemade flavors crafted by a passionate owner!

Stumbled across this place on my way back from Lake Tahoe and so glad I did. We met the man who I assume is the owner, but he makes all the ice cream from scratch. I have celiac disease so cannot have gluten and he was so accommodating-shared how he made flavors, what was in each, and even took a picture of the label of an ingredient for me to check out. I felt safe and confident eating here with his guidance and support. Thank you for a wonderful experience
