Went to The Little Nel for breakfast while on holidays a few weekends ago. I have not stopped thinking about the açai bowl I had 😍 The banana smoothie was also divine! So many gluten free options which was amazing for my family as we are all gluten intolerant. My sister was also able to order food that was both gluten free AND vegan!
Thank you for catering to all us people with allergies and intolerances! 🙏🏼
Will definitely stop in again if I find myself up that way 🙌🏼
A vibrant local spot known for its top-notch coffee, bustling ambiance, and quick service, perfect for a cozy catch-up or a quick bite.

The staff appeared disinterested and rude when we ordered. I am coeliac and paid extra for bread, which is normal, but I was only given one slice of bread for the chilli scrambled eggs, which I wouldn’t expect to pay almost $30 for. The eggs were overcooked and did not taste good. My friends were disappointed by the other meals ordered. The kids meal didn’t even appear to be made in store, and was tiny. Highly disappointing. We were happy to leave and will not be returning.
A hidden gem offering delicious dishes and a cozy vibe, ideal for a peaceful dining experience away from the hustle and bustle.

Amazing food but unfortunately this place was very quiet when other places were really busy. I am so glad we came here to help support such a lovely restaurant. Only tip is to serve cocktails in correct glasses (Bellini in champagne flute, margaritas don't go in Martini glasses etc) but otherwise this place deserves to be busy. Will happily come back. Also, PLENTY of gluten free options which is incredibly rare for Italian restaurants in general.
A family-friendly spot with a diverse menu and a spacious outdoor area where kids can enjoy the greenery while everyone savors delicious meals.

Great surprising find for us as regular Nelson bay foodies. Great entrees (loved the chilli lime oysters) mains (gamberi prawn pasta, butter chicken and gluten free pizza option…prawn coconut curry all recommend), coffees (best soy late had in Nelson bay) and desert all yum. Topped off by great service. We will be back with others…
Experience stunning views and a cozy vibe, where delicious options cater to various tastes in a charming atmosphere.

Lovely views, but that’s about it.
Parking up near the restaurant can be tricky (very few spaces and not much room to reverse).
Food was fresh but bland eg eggs benedict had no herbs or spices, not even salted enough and poached eggs were cooked through.
Good coffee. Gluten-free option is basic commercial sliced white bread.
Exceptional service and a vibrant atmosphere make this spot a must-visit, with consistently great coffee that impresses even the pickiest.

Absolutely outstanding with their customer service and their staff. Nothing was a problem at all. Coffee was on point (I'm particular 🤣) the food and atmosphere were fantastic. I'm gluten intolerant and there was no hesitation in accommodating my dietary requirements.
This place has the best gluten free goodies for a bakery I've ever had. I strongly recommend getting the lemon coconut and apple sourdough mini-loaves, it's 2 for $7. Maybe good to call ahead and check if they're in stock.
Pleasant place for some morning tea after a beach and marina walk. Gluten and dairy free options too. Very nice staff, my son even managed to score a second piece of carrot cake, which I kindly offered to help him with😉😋
