Found this fabulous cafe on our first day in Broadbeach and went back every day after that. So good as a person with Coeliac disease to be able to eat safely on holiday.

Plenty of food options that were gluten free. The chef took the time to personally walk me through the entire buffet to explain the gluten free options. Never had a chef do that before. Wonderful exceptional service. Roast meats were good quality and overall a good buffet.
A busy spot with quick service, great tropical juices, and a must-try addictive chocolate beetroot cake that leaves a lasting impression!

Amending food and service! The young girl who was running the front of house on her own (as they were down staff) was incredible. I wanted got shout her out as it was busy and she was on top of it all!
Excellent gluten free options for two in an our group of 6 have intolerances. Drinks and food came out very quickly considering how busy it was and price was pretty good also. Love our tropical juices.
Parking was also a breeze.
A beloved spot in Broadbeach that guarantees a heavenly experience with its popular mixed platter and exceptional service.

A must visit if in the area. Was introduced to Rumi's a few years ago by friends and always return when near Broadbeach. Their mixed platter for two is heavenly - an absolute must and easy to see why it's their most popular dish. And they can easily alter it for full gluten free and other dietary considerations. The service is always fantastic - the staff rake real pride in customer care.
If I had any feedback, it would be to list on the menu that they can handle different dietary requirements. But apart from that, this place is perfect.
Enjoy generous portions and stunning beach views, perfect for families, with fast service and a great cocktail selection!

Visited Sage Broadbeach for dinner with my partner’s family. As a recently diagnosed coeliac, I was initially relieved to see the menu clearly labelled with GF options, and staff who encouraged us to mention any dietary needs. We started with cocktails and wine which we were impressed with the selection at reasonable prices, and the service was friendly and attentive at this point.
Things quickly went downhill. When ordering, I asked if the mushroom sauce was gluten free, and the waiter casually said he’d just “mark it as gluten free,” which didn’t inspire much confidence. My meal arrived a few minutes late, and after checking again, I was told there was contamination with the fried kale. Unfortunately, by that point, I had already eaten some vegetables and a potato, only to find out the potatoes were also cross-contaminated. My plate was taken away, and after more delays, I was told they couldn’t even pan-fry a fresh batch (which was the waiters suggestion!)
Everyone else was finished eating by the time my meal returned, what I assume was the same steak, now overcooked from medium to well-done, thrown together with a basic garden salad (not the pear salad I ordered), and a bowl of steamed vegetables that came out later. It was incredibly disheartening. Despite seeming aware of coeliac needs at first, the kitchen clearly didn’t understand safe food handling or cross-contamination risks.
After expressing my frustration (after staying extremely optimistic and pleasant up until this point) they offered a discount on the steak, but it barely felt like a gesture considering how little I ate. Sadly, the experience left me feeling dismissed and disappointed. I wouldn’t trust them to safely cater for anyone with serious dietary needs.
Experience a chill vibe with quick service and a welcoming atmosphere at this trendy spot, perfect for a relaxed outing.

I recently visited Elk Espresso and was thoroughly impressed! The service was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and efficient. I never had to wait long at all, which made my visit incredibly stress-free. As someone with celiac disease, I really appreciated the celiac-friendly options on the menu; it’s refreshing to see a café that goes the extra mile for all its guests. I highly recommend Elk Espresso for anyone seeking great coffee, delicious food, and a welcoming atmosphere. Five stars!

I absolutely enjoy my meal with company, but without a question our waiter kanishka was helpful with my request for gluten free options. She's was a delight to have our server. 10/10 for her professional attitude.
Great place for bacon and egg sandwich if you require a gluten free option. Only have white bread for the GF option. Coffee was good and strong with many different milk choices.
Charming spot with a vibrant vegan menu, though service can be hit or miss; perfect for a cozy meal or an easy takeaway.

Beautiful vegan restaurant with lovely food. Some dishes are tastier than others as you'd expect, but so many vegan gluten-free options so we were very happy. Waiter was a bit rude and commented on how much we were eating (you don't say that lol) and we had to wait for a long time for some brown rice that we finished some of the other meals before then. Otherwise, great experience and good food; would eat there again but more likely takeout or delivery.
A cozy spot for Italian food lovers, perfect for gatherings with amazing pastas and a great selection of wines.

I got the pasta and when I asked for GF they said are you Celiac(I said yes) and they told me there is still a risk of having gluten and they told me everything!! They also cook it in a different pan!!
I would not take a kid under 10 as because of the atmosphere of adults and the vibe
But overall just go there is AMAZING 🤩
(Btw, the pasta was delicious 🤤)
Enjoy a cozy vibe with a fantastic outdoor deck and perfectly balanced dishes that keep you coming back for more.

Mum & I ordered eggs bene, smoked salmon (me) & bacon (her). Gluten free bread not listed on menu but asked staff and she said yip we can do that. Also asked if hollandaise was g/f as I had been caught out before. Happily asked cook behind counter wasnt an issue, THANK YOU for that.
Meals had just the right proportions of everything, nothing over powered. Made me do a happy dance between each bite.
We visited on a busy Sunday morning. Table was uncleared until our food arrived. I had specifically asked for a gluten free meal. When it arrived the gluten free bread was sitting on balsamic sauce. I asked if the sauce was GF, to which the young waitress replied I'll go check. They weren't sure so offered to remake it. I was so grateful as I had said I was celiac. It arrived back to me within a minute, with the reminance of the sauce on the underside of my toast.
So dissapointed. I know you are busy guys but when a patron says they have a dietry requirement you really do need to take them seriously, no matter how busy you are.
