The main waiter we had was amazing. She referred to me and my friend as "lovelies". That's just the most amazing gender neutral collective pronouns, thankyou that really made our day. The food was also really nice.
The Vegan Green Essentials was really good. We both really enjoyed that, and the tofu add-on was excellent, but for $6.60, I would have expected a little bit more than 5 1.5cm cubes.
We really liked the smashed avo, but we feel like that should be a proper item on the menu, instead of a fairly small side in the build your own breakfast.
The other waiter we had wasn't as good. He took our order, and we specified the food needs to be vegan. He comes back 5min later, and is like the Turkish bread isn't vegan (which is sometimes the case, as sometimes yoghurt is used as a raising agent), and referred to us to the Gluten Free bread (gluten free bread generally contains egg, so that's surprising). Our friend asked what about the sourdough, and he's like, that contains less gluten.
I think he got confused with vegan and the gluten free fad diet. I know everyone has their days, but that's a bit concerning. Everything was sorted out by the time we got our food, so that's good.
Breakfast here is a local favorite with a healthy twist, and the vibrant atmosphere makes it a must-visit for anyone in the area.

Let me tell you….
While in Camberwell we wanted have lunch, we tried a few places till we find this lovely place, the service was great, the menu contains a variety of gluten free options and everything was nicely served and delicious. Thank you all, next time I know where to eat.
Nice little place just across the road from the station. Staff are very nice and helpful although did get a bit confused about the initial ordering. Food was high quality and reasonably priced, had the Collective sigh of relief which is the big breakfast. Reasonable gluten free range. Would come again!
Quaint and vibrant, this lively spot offers tasty options and easy parking, perfect for a quick coffee and cake stop.

I only had a salad and it was very tasty. I will go back for a coffe and cake if i am in the area again. It looks like they have some gluten free breakfast. Small and noisy, but i liked the place. Very easy to park the car near by.
Very kind staff and tasty fresh food. A good selection of sweets and pastries including gluten free options. Strongly recommend for a quick bite to get you through to dinner!
This spot is known for its consistently tasty options but can be quite loud, so be ready for a lively atmosphere and some wait time.

Food was good, I had the simply grilled burgher and the zucchini chips. Service took a long time. We ordered at about 6:10pm and the food didn't come until 6:40pm. The place was loud, lots of hard surfaces bouncing the sound around. However what Grill'd do is have gluten free options. Those options don't disappoint.
I have been a regular customer at Hibiki for a few years now and often feel looked after as I have a few dietary requirements. I went for a jaffle on a busy weekend with my brother and was so disappointed. We are both coeliacs however they seemed to have changed the GF bread recently- it tasted so bad and it was basically a few bits of dry toast with a couple slices of mushrooms in the middle. The ham in my brother’s “jaffle” was inedible. This was our first disappointing experience here :( we didn’t get given the opportunity to give feedback at the end as nobody asked us how our meal was. I’m hoping this is just a one off!
Located near the library, this gem offers a chill vibe and easy parking on weekends, making it a go-to spot in Camberwell Junction.

Great Cafe just down the road from the library. Usually easy to get a park on Camberwell Road on weekends. Staff are friendly and the food is delicious with good gluten free options. Definitely one of the best in the Camberwell Junction area
This is by far my favourite cafe in melbourne. I feel terrible Ive been going for years and haven't rated it. The staff are so lovely and the food matches the staff and atmosphere. I've always felt so welcome and always stop by if I'm going past for their brownie. Best gluten free brownie Ive ever had!
With a vibrant atmosphere and top-notch coffee, this spot is perfect for enjoying delicious bites and tempting pastries.
