Located near Mount Waverley village is this bright, homely cafe that is serving classic breakfast and lunch dishes. I found the dishes we ordered tasted fresh and flavoursome, and wasn’t overly salty nor oily which was a massive plus.
The motto here is nourished with love and you can see that the menu features a variety of dishes that cater for dietary requirements such as vegan, gluten free and even Allium free too. Also check out their specials too on the board.

The menu also features a cute menu for doggies too!

Such a great spot to gather in Mount Waverley. A rustic atmosphere, of brickwork, garden table out front and the smell of coffee and warm breads really delight the senses. Bring your pooch and sit on the bench seat and watch the locals walk by. Enjoy a latte or tea, with a sausage roll, toastie, sweet muffin or cake. A big plus is that they cater for Gluten Free patrons. We need to support local if we want to keep our village a friendly place to visit.
Expect a mixed bag of flavors and chaotic but charming service, with a laid-back vibe perfect for a leisurely brunch experience.

A varied brunch menu (many interesting egg dishes) & a great selection of cakes. The orange cake was gluten-free & lush, but could have been sweeter. Very subjective :-)
The rest of us ate main courses, all of which were good. Mine was chicken & mushroom risotto, nicely cooked & presented. Excellent flavor. Caesar Salad is a generous serve, prawn linguine smelled good.
Service is polite, enthusiastic, very friendly... & incompetent. On Sunday afternoon I am very laid back. The wait staff are all late teens- but even allowing for that - oh my. We were delivered other people's dinner or drinks not once or twice, but six times. I think three different waiters did this.
I've been a waiter. We didn't complain (they were genuinely honest mistakes, really nice staff, it was brunch, let's get over ourselves). But six times?
I checked the bill carefully. It was right. We tipped :-) But check that the plate you receive is the one you actually ordered.
Would I go back? Absolutely
Had a terrible experience here after driving out from the city thinking it would be great from the Broadsheet review. Coffee would be better at McDonalds. All the cool GF items listed are no longer available there and the GF burger that I did order (which I confirmed 3 times bc the staff seemed a bit out of their depth) came out looking like brioche bun, so I (very embarrassedly by this point) asked could they please check the kitchen got the note. Trusting my gut even though both staff members told me “100% it is gluten free”. One came back and, barely apologetically said, no. Kitchen said they didn’t get the note….she then offered to put the burger insides into a new bun….I, very anxious at this point said , “No I’m gluten intolerant, I can’t just have it scooped out into a new bun and be ok. I'll just eat the fries.” She said fine, she’ll charge less since I couldn’t eat the burger….. By the time she came out again and said they will remake the order I was so anxious and embarrassed I said no, bc I hate to make a fuss, but also would have been sick as a dog for days if I trusted these girls with my order. This is fine for a simple cafe, but it is not a dietary-conscious cafe and should definitely not be listed as such on Broadsheet.
Yummy gluten free chicken sandwich, fresh & really delicious flavours. The matcha was creamy, tasted like real matcha & wasn't to much. Love it all. Will eat/order from here again. 🙌❤
Nice environment lovely chai. Their pastries looked delicious unfortunately I'm gluten free so couldn't have any but my friend said they're really yummy. Great customer service a must go visit if you're in the area.
A standout spot with attentive service from a standout staff member, though some might find the rest a bit brusque.

As someone who has an allergy, the young man that works there is absolutely fantastic! Attentive and always postive and nice. He always makes my gluten free wraps perfect and make sure everything is clean. As for the female staff they are abit rude and need to work on their customer service skills. But the young man is BRILLIANT.
